The new Supersports has made its debut in Bentley\u2019s expansive region of Europe, Middle East and Africa at an exclusive event in Dubai at the end of last week.<\/p>\n
The launch car, in its \u2018Daybreak\u2019 specification of Jetstream Matte with a livery in Arctica and Portofino, opened the evening as guests arrived. At 21:00 local time, the new Supersports: FULL SEND<\/em> film, featuring a Supersports driven around the Bentley factory campus by Travis Pastrana, was launched across Bentley\u2019s global channels, while the film was played on a 12-metre wide screen at the event. As the film finished, the modified Supersports featured in the film was driven into the event by Pastrana himself, to a rapturous reception from the crowd.<\/p>\n 400 VIP guests, including nearly 100 Supersports customers, were joined by Pastrana, along with Bentley global Brand Ambassador, Lucien Laviscount, together with Bentley\u2019s Chairman and CEO, Dr Frank-Steffen Walliser, and Board Member for Sales & Marketing, Christophe Georges.<\/p>\n Guests were welcomed to the gardens of the former royal palace of Sheikha Shamma bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on the Dubai shoreline, overlooked by the Burj Al Arab, which was illuminated in Bentley green for the occasion.<\/p>\n Christophe Georges comments:<\/p>\n \u201cThe event in Dubai was not only a celebration of Supersports, but a reflection of our new brand strategy in action. Our attention now turns to working with each Supersports customer to take them on their own extraordinary journey, through an incredible world of specification possibilities.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Supersports: FULL SEND<\/em>, released during the event, was shot entirely at Bentley\u2019s campus and Dream Factory in Crewe, England, in September last year. The new Supersports demonstrated its exceptional agility and performance in the hands of motorsports and extreme sports athlete and legendary stunt performer, Travis Pastrana, who drifted a modified example of the car around, across and through the entire Bentley site.<\/p>\n The Supersports\u2019 combination of 666 PS, rear-wheel drive and a highly developed chassis and aerodynamics package unleashes a new level of performance ability for Bentley. To showcase the car\u2019s agility, Pastrana created a gymkhana-type film within the grounds of Bentley\u2019s factory, originally constructed in 1938 on Pyms Lane in Crewe \u2013 Bentley\u2019s own \u2018Pymkhana\u2019. Supersports: FULL SEND<\/em> is a celebration of the new Supersports, Pastrana\u2019s extraordinary precision and ability, and the Bentley factory itself, recipient of significant self-funded investment over the last five years.<\/p>\n Order opening for the Supersports starts in March, with production beginning in Q4 2026 ahead of first deliveries at the start of 2027.
