HUWA is a contemporary men’s fine accessories brand designed to accentuate a man’s sophisticated and individual sense of style. The idea came about when Wali wanted to create unique pieces to style a man’s everyday corporate and casual attire with elegant and timeless pieces of self-expression. Every piece is hand-crafted by Egyptian artisans using masterful techniques.<\/p>\n

The symbolic pieces are made of sterling silver or gold and platinum-plated brass, embellished with precious and semi-precious stones. The brand also offers a bespoke service to its clients where it can recreate its existing pieces in solid gold.<\/p>\n

The Designer<\/h2>\n

Hisham Wali is an Egyptian, born in Kuwait and raised in Saudi Arabia, and educated in London, England.<\/p>\n

His cosmopolitan upbringing is a key source of inspiration for his work and collections are crafted to suit men all over the world.<\/p>\n

Wali’s passion first manifested when he used to experiment with lapel pin designs for himself as he gathered gemstones during his travels around the globe.<\/p>\n

This later translated into a vision that developed into the brand that Huwa is today. Wali believes he may be paving the way for aspiring male designers to make their mark in Egyptian fashion.<\/p>\n

HUWA x Karim Najjar<\/h2>\n

HUWA collaborates with style icon and businessman Karim Najjar on a very special collection, bringing the ultimate festive vibes.<\/p>\n

Inspired by the joyful vibes of Christmas and Karim’s fondness for everything that sparkles and glows, HUWA x Karim Najjar channels the cheerful and elegant vibes of the festive season featuring pieces that glam up every gentleman’s look by having them covered in style this winter.<\/p>\n

HUWA x Gorilla<\/h2>\n

HUWA collaborates with Egyptian fitness icon and entrepreneur Hassan Gabr (The Gorilla) on a summer capsule collection, bringing to life pieces relevant to summer and relatable to all.<\/p>\n

The collection features necklaces, bracelets and sunglass chains aimed at heightening your summer experience. The accessories are a mix of sterling silver and silk threads, a literal showcase of half-luxe-half funky, drawing elements from the identities of both HUWA and the Gorilla.<\/p>\n

Prostate Cancer Awareness<\/h2>\n

Aiming at providing men with a clear vision and a resource for advice about prostate cancer, HUWA joined forces with renowned scriptwriter Tamer Habib, singer ABU, TV and radio presenter Sherif Nour El Din and Tayarah Co-founder Ramez Youssef and launched its #HUWA_United campaign to urge men to unite and be more proactive about detecting prostate cancer as well as raise donations for the National Cancer Institute in Egypt.<\/p>\n

The campaign’s mission is to encourage men to discuss their risk and opt for checkups with their family and friends.<\/p>\n

Pitti Uomo<\/h3>\n

HUWA proudly showcased their latest pieces as the first Egyptian brand to join Pitti Uomo, one of the most important platforms for men’s clothing and accessory collections in Florence, Italy.<\/p>\n

Created back in Florence in 1972, Pitti Uomo is the global crossroads for trends, new ideas and the launches of innovative men’s fashion and lifestyle projects. This year Pitti Uomo had 30,000 visitors in total, 1,770 brands and over 18,500 buyers from 100 foreign countries.<\/p>\n

HUWA displayed a selection of their latest SS’19 collection ASTROLOGY along with a selection of stylish necklaces, charming lapel pins and cufflinks from their previous best-selling collections, Kings and Crowns and Sandstorm.<\/p>\n

HUWA proudly showcased their latest pieces in an exclusive event by Porsche where they unveiled their new Macan in their second annual celebration dedicated to Valentine’s Day.
