They offer on-site signature pastificio, freshly made each day and distributed to their other locations. You will find Al Dente in South Kensington (the flagship restaurant), Fitzrovia, and Monument. They also cater to those wishing to enjoy this fresh pasta at home with a highly efficient delivery service. Watch this space\u2014Al Dente is growing year on year!<\/p>\n<p>We dined in the South Kensington restaurant and enjoyed a delicious feast of superb dishes, presented beautifully. The pasta was, of course, served al dente. We began with bruschetta al pomodoro\u2014bread loaded with fresh cherry tomatoes, basil, and garlic\u2014which was amazingly tasty. We also chose burrata and Parma ham; we shared both and they were perfect.<\/p>\n<p>We had a short break while sipping a particularly fabulous bottle of Italian prosecco. My partner chose lasagne, and when I tell you he is extremely fussy, I mean really fussy\u2014he likes it &#8216;moist&#8217;, and it was. I chose a traditional carbonara, which was rich and creamy, and the pasta was divine. I honestly do not think I have ever enjoyed a carbonara as much; I highly recommend it, but it was quite a large portion. I probably should have chosen a lighter starter!<\/p>\n<p>We managed to share probably the most famous Italian dessert, tiramisu.
