Taking control of one\u2019s health is something very much in demand. And within the luxury sector in particular, comprehensive health checks are increasingly sought after.<\/p>\n<p>Widely considered to be the most advanced health check, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.echelon.health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Echelon Health<\/a> is home to the most advanced medical screening equipment and a renowned team of experts. It delivers a comprehensive health assessment; the imaging is so accurate that you wouldn\u2019t need another for four years. Proactive, predictive and utterly personalised, their medical assessments can detect up to 92% of diseases in men and 96% in women.<\/p>\n<p>The technology is impressive. Their Echelon Optimum package includes a comprehensive full-body medical scan, a wide-ranging set of diagnostic tests, a driver to and from your home, and a 2-night restful stay at one of the city\u2019s most iconic hotels. The new assessment covers all health screenings, along with a two-night stay as a guest in the iconic hotel. Clients are then chauffeured to Harley Street for a full day of back-to-back assessments and tests. After a 12-hour fast, they will enjoy lunch under the care and supervision of their personal client liaison manager.<\/p>\n<p>When the day at Echelon Health is over, clients are taken back to the hotel, where they can relax in their luxurious suite. They also receive vouchers to spend at the Mandarin Oriental, which can be used on spa treatments, in-room dining or whatever they wish as part of the service. Echelon Optimum clients can enjoy a spa treatment of their choice from the hotel\u2019s extensive menu of relaxing treatments. In the morning, the client will be chauffeured back home. Within two weeks, Echelon Health Director Dr Paul Jenkins will follow up personally with a detailed health analysis and healthcare suggestions for the future. If treatment is required, Dr Jenkins will refer the client to his trusted network of Harley Street specialists or their own practitioners.<\/p>\n<p>Practising to the highest and most thorough clinical standards, all state-of-the-art images from the scans are analysed by up to seven hand-selected, brilliant radiologists with 20+ years\u2019 experience in their field. Personal health information is often siloed, but Echelon offers highly specific, advanced, integrated analysis harmonised with curated data.<\/p>\n<p>Costing \u00a314,000 per person or \u00a324,000 for two, the health check is not inexpensive\u2014but it promises information and care that is ultimately priceless.<\/p>\n<h2>About Dr Paul Jenkins<\/h2>\n<p>After qualifying with a degree in Medical Sciences at Cambridge University, Dr Jenkins undertook his clinical training at The Royal London Hospital. Shortly afterwards, he joined the internationally renowned Department of Endocrinology at St Bartholomew\u2019s Hospital, where he gained unrivalled experience in clinical endocrinology. He remained at Barts for almost 20 years, as well as running the endocrine service at Homerton University Hospital. Within the Medical School, he was Dean for Pre-Registration Doctors and led an active research group into the interactions between hormones and cancer. He has published more than 80 peer-reviewed scientific papers in this field, as well as writing several books and textbook chapters, and was awarded numerous academic grants for his research. During his clinical career, he has been passionate about the benefits of early disease detection and the role that modern imaging can play in healthcare. Over 15 years ago, he established the European Scanning Centre in Harley Street and developed this into the UK\u2019s leading independent diagnostic imaging company. A few years ago, to complement ESC, he established Echelon Health. This enables him to combine his 30 years of clinical practice with state-of-the-art imaging to provide world-class preventive health assessments.
