The 911 GT3 S/C, designed especially with driving pleasure in mind, combines the lightweight design of the 911 S/T with the naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six ‘boxer’ engine of the 911 GT3, producing 510 PS (375 kW) and 450 Nm of torque. The distinctive wings and doors of the 911 S/T in combination with the black windscreen surround, give the new 911 GT3 S/C an unmistakable look. In line with its positioning as a driver’s car, this special model is available exclusively with a lightweight short-ratio six-speed manual sports transmission.

The 911 GT3 S/C is the only open-top variant in the current 911 range that is designed as a pure two-seater – reminiscent of the 911 Speedster from 2019. Unlike the Speedster, however, the 911 GT3 S/C is not a limited-edition model. The new Street Style Package is also available for the 911 GT3 S/C, which allows the vehicle to be tailored even more precisely to individual tastes.

Frank Moser, Head of the 911 and 718 model series, says the new 911 GT3 S/C is designed for customers seeking a sports car that is particularly focused on driving pleasure: “The emotive powertrain of the 911 GT3 comes into its own even more emphatically when driving with the roof down on winding country roads. This is particularly down to managing to keep the weight of the 911 GT3 S/C down to just 1,497 kilograms, despite the fully automatic soft top. That is only about 30 kg more than the 991-generation 911 Speedster.”

Thorough lightweight design for maximum driving pleasure

The combination of particularly lightweight and high-quality materials ensures that the 911 GT3 S/C shines with the characteristic agility of Porsche GT models. The lightweight body components carried over from the 911 S/T are recognisable, even at first glance. The bonnet, wings and doors are made of carbon fibre. The carbon-fibre anti-roll bars and shear plate are also carried over from the fixed-head 911 S/T.

The brakes and wheels also follow the S/T lightweight formula: the PCCB braking system, which is more than 20 kg lighter than the cast iron brakes, is fitted as standard. The centre-lock wheels, measuring 20 inches in diameter on the front axle and 21 inches at the rear, also from the 911 S/T, are made of lightweight magnesium. This saves around nine kilograms of rotating mass. Magnesium is also used in the fully automatic cabriolet roof of the 911 GT3 S/C. A lightweight and compact 40 Ah lithium-ion battery further contributes to the car’s impressively low weight, saving about four kg compared to a conventional battery.

Sporting and elegant interior

The interior features lightweight carpets and lightweight door panels with carbon-fibre pull handles – further design features carried over from the 911 S/T. The 911 GT3 S/C is built as a two-seater, with four-way adjustable Sports Seats Plus fitted as standard. Lightweight sports bucket seats with folding backrests and seat shells made of carbon fibre are optionally available for the 911 GT3 S/C. The folding bucket seat is equipped with an integrated thorax airbag, electric height adjustment and manual longitudinal adjustment. Three-stage seat heating can also be ordered as an option.

The interior is upholstered in black leather as standard, including the sun visors and the A-pillar trim. The GT3 S/C logo is embroidered in the centre of the rear bulkhead trim. The seat centre panels are finished in perforated leather. As with the 911 S/T, the steering wheel is also upholstered in perforated leather. Just like the current fixed-head 911 GT3, the 911 GT3 S/C starts not with the push of a button but with a rotary ignition switch to the left of the steering wheel. The digital instrument cluster supports the driver with a clearly structured display and operating concept. The ‘Track Screen’ display mode reduces the digital displays on the left and right of the rev counter to essential data on tyres, oil, coolant and fuel. Shift lights on the left and right of the rev counter indicate the optimal moment to change gear. If desired, the display can be rotated so that the rev limit of 9,000 rpm is positioned at the 12 o’clock mark.

High-revving naturally aspirated engine producing 510 PS

The naturally aspirated 4.0-litre engine of the new 911 GT3 S/C is designed to comply with the latest emissions standards and is equipped with two particulate filters and four catalytic converters. Even with this extremely efficient exhaust gas purification system, Porsche delivers an emotionally engaging soundscape that is significantly intensified when the roof is down. The cylinder heads have been revised compared to the previous-generation 911 GT3, and the more aggressive camshafts carried over from the 911 GT3 RS ensure even more responsive power delivery in the upper rev range. The powertrain also features flow-optimised individual throttle bodies and further optimised oil coolers. The flat-six engine produces 510 PS (375 kW). The six-speed GT manual transmission features a sporting short final-drive ratio that matches that of the 911 S/T and the 911 GT3. The new 911 GT3 S/C can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds and, where permitted, reach a top speed of 194 mph.

Magnesium ribs in fully automatic cabriolet top

Because the 911 GT3 S/C, unlike its 911 Speedster ancestor, is not adorned with a double-bubble rear cover, the fully automatic lightweight roof from the current 911 model series could be installed instead of a manual soft top. Thanks to the innovative use of magnesium ribs, a coupé-like roofline is achieved when the fabric roof is in its closed position. With almost identical contours, the fabric roof stretches in an elegant arc from windscreen frame to roof stowage compartment lid. No structural elements are visible beneath the fabric, nor are there any sections that interrupt the flowing design of the characteristic 911 flyline. This also brings aerodynamic advantages.

Thanks to the particularly lightweight hydraulic roof actuators, the soft top can be opened or closed in approximately 12 seconds, either while stationary or at speeds of up to 31 mph. As well as the two flat ribs, the front roof frame and the rear window frame are also made of magnesium. The integrated, electrically operated wind deflector ensures an exhilarating open-top driving experience even at higher speeds and cooler temperatures. At the push of a button, the wind deflector opens within just two seconds. It can be opened and closed at speeds of up to 75 mph via a button in the centre console.

Unmistakable appearance

Matching the black roof, the windscreen frame is finished in black film, giving the 911 GT3 S/C its distinctive look, and the stone-chip protection film on the side panel features a matt-black finish. The matrix LED headlights combine all front lighting functions, making it possible to omit the additional light units previously found in the front bumper. This allows for a significantly larger area for the air intake – and a more clearly structured appearance. For the first time on a 911 with a convertible roof, the retractable rear spoiler is adorned with a Gurney flap, as found on the 911 S/T and the 911 GT3 with Touring Package. The front spoiler lip and rear diffuser are carried over from the current 911 GT3.

Driving pleasure taken to a new level

“We have already learned with the 911 Speedster and the 718 Spyder RS just how well our high-revving naturally aspirated engine, a particularly dynamic chassis setup and thorough lightweight construction combine to create a true driver’s car without a roof,” says Andreas Preuninger, Head of GT Cars. “For the first time, the 911 GT3 S/C uses the double wishbone front axle on an open-top 911. Combined with the particularly high-grip sports tyres and low weight, the car offers driving pleasure on winding roads that was previously virtually unheard of in an open-top car.” The chassis set-up of the new 911 GT3 S/C mirrors that of the 911 GT3 with Touring Package. As with all 911 GT3 models, 255/35 ZR 20 front and 315/30 ZR 21 rear tyres are fitted as standard.

Street Style Package for a distinctive visual identity

Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur offers the optional Street Style Package for the new 911 GT3 S/C. The eye-catching decorative graphics on the front wings and the ‘PORSCHE’ lettering on the sides of the vehicle are in the colour Pyro Red. The wheels are painted in slate grey Neo, harmonising with the exterior accent colours. The brake callipers, finished in Victory Gold, bear ‘PORSCHE’ lettering in black. The wheel rims feature painted accent strips in Pyro Red. At the front, the tinted HD-Matrix headlights and body-coloured airblades provide striking accents.

Inside, the Adaptive Sports Seats Plus catch the eye with an embroidered outline of the Porsche crest. The seat centre panels are upholstered in four-tone braided leather in Slate Grey, Guards Red, Magnesium Grey and Kalahari. This intricately produced material is also found in the glove box. In addition, the interior is almost completely upholstered with two-tone leather in Slate Grey and Guards Red. The contrasting decorative stitching, door handle loops, seat handles and seatbelts are also all finished in Guards Red. The steering column trim, the seat console, the inner sill trim and the fuse box cover are trimmed in leather – as are the air vents, including the slats. The floor mats also feature leather edging. The sun visors, interior mirror console and windscreen frame, as well as the convertible roof headliner, are upholstered in perforated Slate Grey Race-Tex.

A special visual and tactile highlight is the darkened gear lever with its open-pore laminated wood gear knob and shift pattern displayed in Pyro Red. The ‘GT3 S/C’ badge beneath the gear lever, the accent strips in the dash panel and the ‘911’ badge fitted on the passenger side are also finished in Pyro Red. In addition, Porsche Design offers accessories that complement the Street Style Package.

Lightweight storage box for the rear cabin

A lightweight storage box is available as an accessory for the 911 GT3 S/C, which offers additional storage options in the rear of the car, from the Porsche Shop. The box weighs just 10 kg, has a capacity of 80 litres and is trimmed in leather on the outside. The two lockable lids on top feature fabric loop handles. It being mounted via pins anchored in the body structure enables it to be installed exceptionally easily and quickly. Trim strips, decorative stitching and fabric loop handle colours can be individually customised to suit the chosen interior configuration. There are also versions of the storage box available to match the Street Style Package.

911 GT3 S/C for the wrist

Exclusively for owners of the 911 GT3 S/C, Porsche Design presents an extraordinary timepiece that brings the design and performance of the sports car to the wrist. The Chronograph 911 GT3 S/C is equipped with the precise, COSC-certified Porsche Design calibre WERK 01.200 with a flyback function. Its case, crafted from ultra-lightweight titanium and optionally available with a black titanium carbide coating, combines sports car design with modern watchmaking artistry. The GT3-themed dial with yellow accents and a hexagonal pattern reflects the car’s instrument panel, while the winding rotor is modelled on the design of the magnesium forged wheels. The colour ring of the dial is available in all exterior colours for the 911 GT3 S/C, including those from the Paint to Sample range. The strap, made from genuine Porsche interior leather and thread, is also tailored to the specific configuration of the customer’s vehicle. The bespoke Porsche 911 GT3 S/C timepiece is now available to configure, with prices starting from £10,600 RRP.

Available to order today

The new Porsche 911 GT3 S/C is available to order now, priced from £200,500 RRP including VAT and country-specific equipment. The Street Style package is priced at £24,110 RRP.

Customers will also be invited to explore the potential of the new car and further develop their own skills behind the wheel by participating in a bespoke driving experience around the unique tracks at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone.

New era of yachting dawns with the world debut of the Manari 52 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/new-era-of-yachting-dawns-with-the-world-debut-of-the-manari-52/ Tue, 31 Mar 2026 09:01:07 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=110015 Manari 52 is the first model from Manari Yachts

Debuted at Palm Beach International Boat Show 2026

Loro Piana materials play a leading role in the interior

47-knot top speed with quiet Volvo IPS drives

Expansive outdoor entertaining space

Bold new Miami-based yacht brand Manari Yachts has lifted the veil on its much-anticipated first model. Combining effortless style, unrivalled performance and astonishing luxury, the Manari 52 had its world debut at the Palm Beach International

Interest in the brand was red hot, as yachting cognoscenti sought to get their first glimpse of a boat that promises to redefine standards in the 50-foot segment. From its Loro Piana interior to its 47-knot top speed, the Manari 52 truly stands out as a new benchmark for superyacht quality in its size range.

Exemplifying a design vision that sets the tone for the brand, the Manari 52 insists on exclusivity and enduring taste. And perhaps little wonder, in view of the ambitious group of experienced yachting professionals who are driving the project, in close collaboration with some of the superyacht world’s most respected designers.

Red Yacht Design penned the Manari 52’s sleek lines, infusing the yacht with contemporary elegance and unmistakable presence. The naval architecture was entrusted to Mulder Design, with its decades of performance-driven expertise. And engineering was developed by Eureka Yachts, delivering uncompromising technical standards.

Living at the water’s edge

Manari’s philosophy is simple: time on the water should be unforgettable. That is why the yacht is conceived to seamlessly blend elegant Loro Piana interiors with carefree outdoor living. At anchor, the whole aft end of the boat becomes a spacious swimming and relaxing platform. Steps extend down into the water for easy access, and fold-down wings dramatically expand the living area.

A luxurious three-person sunpad reigns supreme over the aft platform, giving way to elegant seating for six around an oval-shaped table in the welcome shade of the hardtop. Upholstery is in a hard-wearing exterior fabric made specially for Manari. An expansive wet bar, grill and fridge have been subtly integrated into this space, providing everything needed for lively entertaining. Each element is crafted to create a welcoming space where leisure and socialising come naturally.

When you want to catch a little more breeze, turn to the sophisticated foredeck lounge, which rounds out the exterior entertaining spaces of the boat. Here, a triple sun bed is laid out on the coachroof with clear sightlines out over the bulwarks. Deep, upholstered seating fills the V-shape of the bow around a table that makes the perfect spot for a morning coffee or a sundowner among friends. An awning can easily be rigged here to provide shade.

Cocoon of luxury

Below deck, it is the same story of carefully weighed functionality and exquisite comfort. The finest natural materials from Loro Piana interiors feature throughout the yacht, alongside beautiful, bespoke woods by Tabu and premium Italian leathers. From subtle hardware accents to refined finishing touches, the Manari team selected the very best components during a month-long tour of noted Italian ateliers. It is this attention to detail that defines Manari, ensuring a cohesive expression of craftsmanship throughout.

Descending the companionway from the cockpit, you land in a welcoming lounge area with generous 2.2m headroom – styled in neutral, contemporary tones. Comfortable sofas line the hull, and the lounge is bathed in natural light from the full-length hull window. There’s the option of a large, flush-mounted TV, with a coffee nook and a fridge.

The master cabin occupies pride of place forward, where there is room for a semi-island, king-size bed and generous clothes storage. Here is a haven of relaxation for spending nights at anchor in deserted bays or simply taking a nap in the heat of the day. An elegant second double cabin is laid out for guests amidships.

Both cabins have access to a stunning contemporary bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. Exclusive fittings, carefully backlit shelving and moulded one-piece composite stone surfaces give this space more the ambience of a spa than a yacht.

Quick and quiet

Performance sets the Manari 52 apart as a genuine category leader, and the design prioritises four custom pilot seats at the dashboard. Responding instantly to our signature Manari wheel, the advanced Volvo IPS propulsion delivers razor-sharp handling and exhilarating speeds of up to 47 knots, placing the yacht at the forefront of its class worldwide. This is not simply a fast yacht — it is a new reference point for what a 52-footer can be.

Besides the intuitive joystick controls that distinguish the IPS system, it is also notable for its quiet, vibration-free operation. Experienced boaters know that quietness is one of the greatest luxuries a motor yacht can offer. Taken alongside the optional Seakeepergyrostabilizer, it is the clear manifesto for guest comfort, which lies at the very heart of Manari’s mission.

Global presence

Real depth of expertise lies behind the Manari Yachts brand, setting it apart from others in the 50ft segment. With an established presence in Florida, the Mediterranean and Asia, the company is perfectly positioned to support its clientele wherever they cruise, ensuring a seamless ownership journey across the world’s key yachting regions.

It is this quiet confidence in both product and service that defines the spirit behind Manari’s guiding line: “Crafted for Those Who Know.”

Turkish Riviera Overtakes the Western Med for Yacht Charters https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/turkish-riviera-overtakes-the-western-med-for-yacht-charters/ Mon, 30 Mar 2026 14:30:55 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=109986 Something has shifted in the Mediterranean charter market over the past few seasons, and it is worth paying attention to. The usual suspects — the Amalfi Coast, the French Riviera, Ibiza, Sardinia — remain beautiful. They also remain crowded, expensive in ways that feel disconnected from the experience, and increasingly difficult to enjoy in privacy during peak months. There is a reason that repeat charter guests have been looking east.

Turkey’s southwestern coast, the stretch running from Bodrum down through Marmaris, Fethiye, and Kas, has been on the radar of serious Mediterranean sailors for decades. What has changed recently is the calibre of the charter operations working this coast. The vessels are better maintained, the crews are professionally trained, the food rivals anything you’ll eat ashore, and the planning infrastructure has matured to a point where a week on the Turquoise Coast requires no more effort from the guest than a week at a five-star resort.

I spent ten days sailing this coast last season with a luxury yacht charter in Turkey arranged through Blue More Yachting, a Fethiye-based operator managing a fleet of over 240 crewed vessels. What follows is an honest account of what that experience was like, and why I think this coastline deserves the attention it is now getting.

The case for Marmaris

Marmaris sits at the meeting point of the Aegean and the Mediterranean, inside a large natural harbour that has sheltered vessels since antiquity. The town has a well-equipped marina, a restored old quarter climbing the hillside above it, and a lively waterfront without being overwhelming.

As a departure point for a luxury yacht charter from Marmaris, Marmaris offers something the western Med rarely does: immediate access to empty water. Within an hour of leaving the harbour, you can be anchored in a bay on the Bozburun Peninsula where the pine forests come down to the waterline and the nearest road is several kilometres away. Selimiye, a fishing village on the peninsula’s southern shore, has waterside restaurants serving fish that was caught that morning. Bozburun, at the tip, is a traditional boatbuilding town that has somehow avoided becoming a tourist attraction.

The sailing east from Marmaris is equally compelling. The route passes Ekincik Bay and the river estuary that leads to Dalyan, where ancient Lycian cliff tombs look down on a protected turtle nesting beach. For guests with a sense of adventure, the Greek island of Rhodes is less than two hours away by sea, adding an unexpected international dimension to the itinerary.

What separates the Turkish charter experience

Three things stood out during the trip that I didn’t encounter in the western Mediterranean.

First, the crew culture. Turkish hospitality is not a slogan. Our captain had been sailing this coast for 22 years. He knew which bays offered the best morning light for swimming, where the wind would shift in the afternoon, and which fishing villages had the freshest catch. This kind of accumulated knowledge cannot be replicated by a charter app or a GPS itinerary.

Second, the food. The chef on our vessel provisioned daily at local markets, sometimes before dawn. Lunch was typically grilled fish, a generous spread of meze, and salads dressed with Aegean olive oil. Dinners were multi-course affairs with regional specialities. The traditional Turkish breakfast spread, which takes 45 minutes to work through properly, became the ritual that defined each morning.

Third, the coastline itself. The Turquoise Coast has a density of interest that the western Med struggles to match in a single sailing week. Ancient ruins, protected marine areas, sandy beaches, rocky coves, small harbour towns, and long stretches of uninhabited shoreline all sit within comfortable daily sailing distances of each other.

The logistics

Blue More Yachting handles the operational complexity that sits behind a seamless charter week. Their planning process begins months ahead, matching vessel type and crew to the group’s profile. Families get different recommendations than couples. Corporate groups get different itineraries than groups of friends.

The fleet includes both traditional wooden gulets, which are handmade sailing vessels unique to this coast, and modern motor yachts with stabiliser systems for open-water passages. Both categories are crewed, fully catered, and equipped for water sports.

Dalaman airport serves Marmaris, Fethiye, and Gocek, with direct flights from most European capitals. Milas-Bodrum Airport covers the Bodrum Peninsula. Transfers to the marina take under an hour from either airport. The charter season runs from late April through early November, with May, June, September, and October favoured by experienced travellers for calmer conditions and fewer vessels at anchor.

On board: the daily rhythm

A typical day followed a pattern that felt effortless by the second morning. An early swim off the back platform, then breakfast on deck. The captain raised anchor mid-morning and sailed to the next stop, usually 30 minutes to an hour away. The sailing itself was part of the pleasure: watching the coast change shape, spotting ruins on headlands, occasionally seeing dolphins off the bow.

Lunch at a new anchorage. The afternoon was open. Kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, or simply reading in the shade. Late afternoon brought a short sail to the evening mooring. Some nights we anchored in a quiet bay and ate dinner under the stars. Other nights we tied up in a harbour town and walked ashore for tea in a waterfront cafe.

The crew on our vessel anticipated the group’s mood with an attentiveness that never felt intrusive. When two of us wanted to go ashore, and the rest wanted to stay on deck, the tender ran without anyone needing to coordinate. When one guest mentioned a preference for white wine, a bottle of local Narince appeared at dinner that evening. Small gestures, but they accumulate.

The verdict

The Turquoise Coast is not trying to compete with Saint-Tropez or Capri on glamour. It is offering something those destinations stopped being able to provide years ago: privacy, genuine warmth from the crew, food that tastes like a place rather than a brand, and the simple luxury of anchoring in a bay where your vessel is the only one there. For charter guests who have done the western Med and are looking for something that feels like a discovery rather than a confirmation, this is where to look

Porsche is realigning itself: “Leaner, faster and even more desirable” https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/porsche-is-realigning-itself-leaner-faster-and-even-more-desirable/ Wed, 11 Mar 2026 13:09:31 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=109459 Porsche AG is accelerating the further development of its product strategy, streamlining its management structure and reducing costs in all areas.

CEO Dr Michael Leiters:

“We are using the current challenges as an opportunity to act even more decisively.”
“We will comprehensively reposition Porsche, make the company leaner, faster and the products even more desirable.”

“We are considering the expansion of our product portfolio to grow in higher-margin segments.”

Group sales revenue in 2025 was 36.27 billion euros, operating profit was 413 million euros, and the Group’s operating return on sales was 1.1 per cent.

Strong financial basis: high net liquidity and a healthy balance sheet give Porsche flexibility and resilience for the tasks ahead.

CFO Dr Jochen Breckner: “The global challenges and the company’s realignment impacted earnings in 2025. In 2026, our recalibration measures will continue to have one-off effects on earnings in the high three-digit million euros range. To secure adequate margins by Porsche standards in the medium term and strengthen our resilience in the long term, we accept these burdens.”

Stuttgart. Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG is shifting into the next gear in the realignment of the company and its product portfolio, which began in 2025. The new CEO, Dr Michael Leiters, is pushing the pace: “Since I took office, our management team has systematically analysed the situation and begun a series of initial targeted measures. These include the consistent application of our Value over Volume principle, especially in the difficult market environment of China, and the quality-oriented ramp-up of production of the all-electric Cayenne. We will streamline our management structure, reduce hierarchies and cut back on bureaucracy. We have also already begun to focus more strongly on our core business.” At the company’s annual press conference in Stuttgart, Michael Leiters emphasised: “We are using the current challenges as an opportunity to act even more decisively. We will comprehensively reposition Porsche, make the company leaner, faster, and the products even more desirable.”

Key points of the new Strategy 2035

Leiters clearly expressed his own expectations of the company: “The name Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche stands for the technical excellence of a sports car manufacturer. We stand for uncompromisingly good sports cars that you want to drive yourself, that are fun, that convey performance and passion. And all this regardless of the type of powertrain.” Seventy days after taking office in January, Leiters outlined the first concrete cornerstones of his Strategy 2035: “We are considering the expansion of our product portfolio to grow in higher-margin segments. In doing so, we are looking at models and derivatives both above our current two-door sports cars and above the Cayenne.” With a view to the capital market, he added: “With Strategy 2035, we want to lay the foundations for sustainably strong cash flow, strong results and margins that are appropriate for Porsche.”

Emotive new sports cars in 2025 and 2026

In 2025, two top derivatives celebrated their world premiere. In September, Porsche presented the new 911 Turbo S. An innovative bi-turbo powertrain with T-Hybrid technology makes the series flagship the most powerful production 911 of all time. In November, the company celebrated the world premiere of the all-electric Cayenne. It sets new standards in the SUV segment and is the most powerful production Porsche ever built. The new Cayenne Electric complements the existing offer of combustion-engined and plug-in hybrid models in the model series and underlines Porsche’s continued commitment to a mix of powertrain types. In 2026, Porsche will also present emotive new derivatives with which the sports car manufacturer wants to inspire its global customers and fans.

Challenging financial year with extraordinary expenses

The 2025 financial year was challenging. Group sales revenue declined to 36.27 billion euros in 2025 (2024: 40.08 billion euros). Group operating profit fell from 5.64 billion euros to 413 million euros. The reasons for this were, among other things, extraordinary expenses of approximately 3.9 billion euros. These consist of the realignment of the product strategy and the rescaling of the company (approximately 2.4 billion euros), additional expenses from battery activities (approximately 700 million euros) and US tariffs (approximately 700 million euros).

The Group’s operating return on sales was 1.1 per cent (2024: 14.1 per cent), which was within the last adjusted forecast. The Automotive EBITDA margin fell to 13.3 per cent (2024: 22.7 per cent). This was above the last adjusted forecast. “Porsche had enormous challenges to fight worldwide in 2025″, reported Dr Jochen Breckner, Member of the Executive Board for Finance and IT. “The global challenges and the company’s realignment impacted earnings in 2025. In 2026, our recalibration measures will continue to have one-off effects on earnings in the high three-digit million euros range. To secure adequate margins by Porsche standards in the medium term and strengthen our resilience in the long term, we accept these burdens.”

Dividend adjusted due to charges

Automotive net cash flow was 1.51 billion euros (2024: 3.73 billion euros). The resulting Automotive net cash flow margin of 4.7 per cent (2024: 10.2 per cent) was within the adjusted range. The share of purely battery-powered electric vehicles (automotive BEV share) was 22.2 per cent (2024: 12.7 per cent) and thus above the originally expected range. Deliveries to customers declined in the 2025 financial year. Overall, the sports car manufacturer delivered 279,449 vehicles. This was 10.1 per cent less than in the previous year (2024: 310,718 vehicles). Despite the challenging conditions, Porsche is in a strong financial position. High net liquidity and a healthy balance sheet give the company flexibility and resilience.

Earnings per ordinary share amounted to 0.47 euros in 2025, while earnings per preferred share amounted to 0.48 euros. The Executive Board and Supervisory Board will propose a dividend of 1.00 euros per ordinary share and 1.01 euros per preferred share to the Porsche AG Annual General Meeting. Due to the extraordinary burdens of 2025, the dividend will therefore be significantly reduced compared to the previous year, but is significantly higher than the original guideline of 50 per cent.

Forecast for 2026

Porsche AG is again anticipating very challenging market conditions for the 2026 financial year. For example, in China, the luxury segment remains under pressure, and intense price competition, especially for fully electric vehicles, continues to have an impact. Porsche also expects geopolitical uncertainties and the US tariff policy to remain in place. The potential impact of recent developments in the Middle East, however, has not been taken into account. Based on these assumptions and additional one-off effects, Porsche expects a higher Group operating return on sales in the range of 5.5 to 7.5 per cent for the 2026 financial year. This forecast includes assumed sales revenue in the range of around 35 to 36 billion euros. Porsche also expects a higher Automotive net cash flow margin, ranging between 3 and 5 per cent.

New Porsche Cayenne S expands line-up of all-electric SUV https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/new-porsche-cayenne-s-expands-line-up-of-all-electric-suv/ Tue, 10 Mar 2026 13:25:42 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=109423 Electric all-wheel drive with a 400 kW (544 PS) power output
490 kW (666 PS) with overboost, 0 to 62mph in 3.8 seconds
Selected design elements in Volcano Grey Metallic on front and rear aprons
Porsche Active Ride, PCCB, PTV Plus and Push-to-Pass1 optionally available
New exclusive Interior Style Package for all Cayenne Electric models

The new Cayenne S enriches the all-electric SUV line-up, offering a balanced mix of high performance, efficiency and extensive equipment. Its all-wheel drive system delivers 400 kW (544 PS) – and up to 490 kW (666 PS) with Launch Control. With model-specific nose and tail apron designs, the Cayenne S Electric stands out with a distinctive appearance. In addition, Porsche is also presenting curated ‘Director’s Cuts’ from Style Porsche with the ‘Style’ product line. The first of these is the Interior Style Package, which will be available for all versions of the Cayenne Electric.

Great Britain. The new Cayenne S Electric complements the existing line-up, positioned between the Cayenne Electric and the top-of-the-range Cayenne Electric Turbo model. An additional 165 kW (224 PS) of power, a sharpened exterior design, and even more extensive equipment options differentiate the Cayenne S from the Cayenne. The Cayenne S Electric accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of up to 155 mph where permitted. Its combined WLTP range is up to 405 miles. Like the other two current Cayenne Electric models, the S variant features a high-voltage battery with a gross energy capacity of 113 kWh, which, at up to 400 kW2 at a suitable fast-charging station, can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent State of Charge (SoC) in less than 16 minutes3.

Direct oil cooling at the rear axle for high continuous load and efficiency

The drive system, which features one permanent magnet synchronous motor on both the front and rear axles, delivers a system output of 400 kW (544 PS), or up to 490 kW (666 PS) with Launch Control. Like the Cayenne Turbo, the Cayenne S uses direct oil cooling for the rear-axle electric motor. Unlike with conventional electric motors, the heat is dissipated directly from the current-carrying components. The pulse inverter on the rear axle uses silicon carbide as a semiconductor material and processes currents of up to 620 amps.

The Cayenne S Electric is characterised by model-specific front and rear aprons in Volcano Grey Metallic, while the inserts and diffuser are painted in the body colour. The exterior styling is rounded off by 20-inch Cayenne S Aero wheels. Optional equipment is available for the Cayenne S that was previously reserved only for the Turbo model. The optional Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) provides even more precise driving dynamics. The premium Porsche Active Ride suspension almost completely compensates for body movements and ensures exceptional driving stability. The high-performance Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system with yellow-painted brake callipers is also available for the Cayenne S, as is the Sport Chrono Package. With the Push-to-Pass function1, up to 90 kW (122 PS) of additional power can be called upon for 10 seconds. The built-in Track mode ensures maximum performance on track through targeted pre-conditioning of the battery.

Like all the fully electric Cayenne models, the Cayenne S can be configured to suit individual tastes. Thirteen exterior colours and various interior and accent packages offer customers a wide range of possibilities for personalisation.

The Cayenne S Electric is available to order now, priced from £99,900.00 RRP (inc VAT) in the UK, and €136,730.00 RRP (inc VAT and VRT) in Ireland.

New offering from Exclusive Manufaktur: the Interior Style Package

Under the ‘Style’ product line, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur is offering curated packages devised by the Style Porsche design studio and Exclusive Manufaktur. The first of these ‘Director’s Cuts’ is the Interior Style Package, which is now available as an option for all derivatives of the Cayenne Electric.

With a colour and material scheme coordinated with the exterior colour Mystic Green Metallic, the package creates a modern and exclusive ambience. At its heart is the two-tone leather upholstery in Black and Delgada Green, which extends to the door trims and the 14-way adjustable Comfort Seats, with the seat belts also picking up on the colour theme. Delgada Green decorative stitching emphasises the attention to detail inside the car, as does the embroidered outline of the Porsche crest on the headrests.

Aluminium decorative trims, painted in Izabal Green, provide modern contrasts against the upholstered leather surfaces. The GT sports steering wheel trimmed in black leather features a 12 o’clock marking and cross stitching in Delgada Green. An Izabal Green ring on the airbag module, and a knurled Drive Mode selection wheel in the same colour, emphasise the distinctive styling. In the driver’s direct field of vision, the dial of the compass, the Sports Chrono stopwatch and the power meter in the instrument cluster all incorporate the Izabal Green accents.

The features are complemented by an accent package in Silvershade, as well as an armrest in the centre console embossed with ‘Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur’ lettering. The vehicle key is also finished in Izabal Green and is presented in a case with decorative stitching in Delgada Green. The overall look is rounded off with black anodised aluminium door sill guards with the model designation illuminated in green, as well as black floor mats with decorative edging, emblems and stitching.

The Interior Style Package is available to order now as an option for all Cayenne Electric derivatives. It is priced as follows: Cayenne Electric (£9,444), Cayenne S Electric (£9,540) and Cayenne Turbo Electric (£3,737).

Corporate Life to Ocean Life: Professionals Are Choosing Sailing https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/corporate-life-to-ocean-life-more-professionals-are-choosing-sailing/ Tue, 03 Mar 2026 17:03:51 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=109233 The corner office, endless meetings, and relentless deadline pressure define the reality for millions of professionals worldwide. Yet an increasing number of accomplished executives, entrepreneurs, and corporate leaders are abandoning traditional career paths to embrace a radically different lifestyle. They’re trading spreadsheets for sea charts, conference calls for ocean winds, and office stress for the freedom of life at sea. This shift represents more than a career change—it’s a fundamental reimagining of what success and fulfilment truly mean.

The Appeal of Sailing for Corporate Professionals

Escape from Burnout and Rediscover Purpose

Corporate environments often demand constant connectivity, decision-making pressure, and performance metrics that can exhaust even the most ambitious professionals. Sailing offers a complete mental reset. The ocean demands presence and focus, but on tasks inherently more meaningful than quarterly earnings reports. This shift from external validation to intrinsic satisfaction proves transformative for many professionals seeking renewed purpose.

The physical and mental challenges of sailing—navigating weather, managing vessel systems, understanding tides and currents—engage different parts of the brain than corporate work. This cognitive shift allows professionals to experience genuine achievement unburdened by office politics or artificial hierarchies.

Freedom and Autonomy Redefined

Corporate structures impose hierarchies, protocols, and approval processes that constrain decision-making. Sailing offers true autonomy. You command your vessel, chart your course, and determine your schedule. This independence appeals powerfully to accomplished professionals accustomed to influence but frustrated by bureaucratic constraints.

The ability to wake without alarm clocks, work on your own terms, and follow genuine interests rather than organisational directives represents freedom many never experienced in traditional employment.

The Lifestyle Transition and Its Rewards

Community and Meaningful Connections

Contrary to assumptions about sailing being solitary, the sailing community offers rich social connections. Unlike corporate networking focused on transactional relationships, sailing friendships develop through genuine shared experiences. Facing challenges together, celebrating safe passages, and supporting fellow sailors creates bonds that transcend typical professional relationships.

Global sailing communities provide constant engagement opportunities. From informal anchorage gatherings to organised rallies and events, sailors connect across cultures and backgrounds in ways corporate environments rarely facilitate.

Adventure and Personal Growth

Sailing demands continuous learning. Navigation, weather interpretation, mechanical understanding, and seamanship skills develop through experience and necessity. This constant growth satisfies the professional drive for improvement whilst remaining intrinsically motivated rather than externally mandated.

Navigating unfamiliar coastlines, responding to unexpected weather, and solving problems without corporate support systems build genuine confidence and resilience that differ markedly from office-based competence.

Environmental Connection and Sustainability

Many professionals transition to sailing motivated by environmental concerns. Living closely with ocean ecosystems, witnessing climate impacts firsthand, and choosing sustainable practices creates authentic environmental engagement beyond corporate sustainability initiatives.

Making the Transition Successfully

Financial Planning and Preparation

The transition requires a realistic financial assessment. Calculate vessel costs, maintenance, insurance, and living expenses. Many professionals maintain income through remote work or consulting whilst sailing, balancing financial security with lifestyle freedom. Planning ensures the transition remains sustainable long-term.

Skill Development and Training

Sailing competence requires structured learning. Professional sailing courses provide essential navigation, safety, and seamanship training. Organisations like Oyster Yachts offer structured programmes and rallies that facilitate learning whilst connecting professionals with like-minded peers making similar transitions.

Gradual Transitions and Testing

Rather than immediate dramatic changes, many successful transitions involve gradual steps. Extended sailing holidays, sabbaticals, and part-time sailing experiences allow professionals to test whether the lifestyle genuinely aligns with their aspirations before complete commitment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need extensive sailing experience before transitioning to ocean life?

No. Many professionals begin with beginner sailing courses and gradually develop competence through structured learning programmes and mentorship. Professional sailing qualifications and organised events provide frameworks for skill development at your own pace.

Can I maintain an income whilst sailing?

Absolutely. Remote work, consulting, freelancing, and digital business allow professionals to maintain income from anchorages worldwide. Many successful sailing professionals maintain part-time work supporting their lifestyle whilst enjoying vastly improved work-life balance.

What are the realistic costs for living aboard a sailing yacht?

Costs vary significantly based on vessel type, location, and lifestyle choices. Modest sailboats cost considerably less than luxury yachts, whilst anchoring in developing nations reduces expenses compared to major developed ports. Realistic budgeting typically ranges from modest to comfortable middle-class living, depending on choices.

How do I connect with other professionals making this transition?

Sailing communities, organised rallies, online forums, and sailing clubs provide rich networking opportunities. Professional sailing organisations and groups specifically facilitate connections amongst peers sharing similar backgrounds and transition experiences.

Is sailing lifestyle sustainable long-term or temporary?

Both pathways exist. Some professionals return to corporate work after sabbaticals, whilst others build permanent ocean-based lifestyles. The transition allows flexibility—you can test extended sailing, return to shore-based life, or discover that ocean living suits you indefinitely.

Conclusion

The transition from corporate life to ocean life represents a profound reimagining of success, freedom, and fulfilment. For professionals exhausted by traditional careers and seeking meaningful alternatives, sailing offers genuine transformation. Whether pursued as permanent lifestyle change or extended sabbatical, ocean sailing provides adventure, community, personal growth, and autonomy that corporate environments rarely deliver. The professionals making this transition aren’t abandoning success—they’re redefining it on their own terms, discovering that true achievement lies not in climbing corporate ladders but in navigating the world’s oceans and charting courses aligned with their deepest values.

Wheely Extends Flight-Tracking to private aviation with live tail number monitoring https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/wheely-extends-flight-tracking-to-private-aviation-with-live-tail-number-monitoring/ Wed, 25 Feb 2026 11:54:20 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=108939 Chauffeur and concierge service introduces flawless airport pickups for private jet passengers across London, Paris and Dubai

Feature builds on Wheely’s Perfect Airport Pickup service, responding to growing demand as the private jet charter market grows 13.5% year-on-year

Wheely, the Swiss-founded British services company, today announces the extension of its live flight-tracking technology to support private aviation.

The service is available now and allows passengers travelling by private jet to enjoy the same precisely timed airport pickup experience that has defined Wheely’s Perfect Airport Pickup service for commercial flights.

Customers flying private can specify their aircraft tail number in the Wheely app. Once the flight plan is filed, Wheely’s system begins live tracking, dynamically adjusting the chauffeur’s arrival time to align with the flight – ensuring they reach the terminal ahead of the aircraft landing, even if it arrives early.

The service eliminates waiting time and delivers the efficiency and discretion Wheely’s clientele expect. It also tracks if a flight is diverted or lands in another serviceable airport and makes sure the chauffeur can reroute.

Unlike commercial aviation, where flight schedules are predetermined, private aviation presents unique logistical challenges. Flight plans are often confirmed only hours before departure, and access to FBOs (Fixed-Base Operators) – the private terminals servicing executive aircraft – frequently requires prior permission.

Wheely’s technology handles these complexities and its chauffeurs are aware of FBO procedures, allowing them to access the closest available point to the arrival, and adjust in real-time as flight conditions change.

Where the FBO permits, Wheely chauffeurs will wait planeside for customers. In cases where it is not permitted, chauffeurs will wait in the private terminal as a passenger arrives, ready to depart as soon as the wheels touch down.

Anton Chirkunov, CEO and Founder of Wheely, said: “We’ve extended the same flight-tracking capabilities we perfected for commercial travel to private jets, so whether you’re landing at a commercial terminal or touching down privately at Farnborough, your chauffeur will always be there at exactly the right moment.

“Our customers expect flawless execution and refuse to compromise on time or privacy. As private aviation continues to grow – now a $24 billion market expanding at more than 13% annually – we’re ensuring Wheely remains their natural choice on the ground.

How It Works

Wheely’s private aviation tracking integrates seamlessly into the booking experience:

Customers enter their arrival airport, expected arrival time and aircraft tail number when booking

For flexibility, tail numbers can be added up to the point of departure if not confirmed earlier (common with charter services such as NetJets or Flexjet)

Once flight plan is filed or the aircraft is airborne, Wheely’s system begins live tracking

Chauffeurs receive real-time updates and arrive at the FBO or designated pickup point, so they are waiting for customers on arrival

If needed, customers can enter PPR (Prior Permission Required) details, which are managed to ensure chauffeurs have seamless terminal access

The technology builds on Wheely’s expertise in commercial flight tracking, where the platform aggregates data from multiple providers to deliver the most accurate arrival predictions in the industry.

Meeting Growing Demand

The launch responds to significant demand among Wheely’s customer base. Last year, Wheely completed thousands of private aviation pickups and drop-offs across its three markets in London, Paris and Dubai. Airports include private terminals at Farnborough, Biggin Hill, Luton in the UK, Le Bourget in France, and dedicated private terminals in Dubai at Al Maktoum International and Dubai International.

With the private jet charter market growing 13.5% year-on-year and worth $24 billion in 2025, the new feature will drive increased use of Wheely services and enhance the customer experience.

Perfect Airport Pickup: A Proven Standard

Commercial flights

Wheely’s Perfect Airport Pickup service has set the industry benchmark for commercial airport and main terminal transfers. Its features include:

Live flight tracking with real-time adjustments

Chauffeurs under NDA for complete discretion

Meet-and-greet with name board at arrivals

Complimentary waiting time of 60 minutes with no additional charges

Option to ask the chauffeur to arrive between 15 and 60 minutes after landing

Boarding pass scanning for customers who prefer using paper passes

Book on-demand or in advance, up to three months before

Private aviation

With private aviation tracking integrated in the Wheely app, people travelling via FBOs and private terminals can use Perfect Airport Pickup to protect their time and arrive at their destination discreetly.

Features include:

Live flight tracking with real-time adjustments

Chauffeurs under NDA for complete discretion

Planeside pickup where possible

Private terminal meet and greet

Complimentary waiting time of 60 minutes with no additional charges

Option to book without a tail number or to amend tail number after booking

Book on-demand or in advance, up to three months before

Pilli Pipa Dhow Safari in Kenya, Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/dive-into-paradise-pilli-pipa-dhow-safari-in-kenya-kisite-mpunguti-marine-park/ Wed, 28 Jan 2026 07:23:46 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/dive-into-paradise-pilli-pipa-dhow-safari-in-kenya-kisite-mpunguti-marine-park/ Join me for a dhow adventure, coral garden discovery and Swahili coastal flavours…

My senses were on overdrive. Between the rhythmic thrum of the dhow and the blinding glare of the turquoise waters, I felt the ocean’s magnetic pull. Mask pressed to my face, I plunged in.

Splash…. the sun-dappled surface broke, and my excitement gave way to awe as a shimmering kaleidoscope of fish parted around me like a curtain. The Indian Ocean swallowed me in a soft, embracing warmth. As the surface bubbles vanished, I became aware of the silence, broken only by the rhythmic sound of my own breathing.

Whether a diver or a snorkeller, the ocean has something for everyone. One looks down through the shimmering turquoise water, floating above the reef; the other slips beneath the surface in a single breath, looking up through the weightless blue — both equally captivated by the pristine coral reefs bursting with life and colour.

The perfect day unfolded with a seafood lunch waiting for us later on a tranquil island with swaying palms.

Beyond the Shore: A Deep Dive into Kenya’s Marine Paradise

On Kenya’s sun-kissed coast, near Shimoni and close to the Tanzanian border, the 39 sq. km Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park is home to 250 fish species, 70 resident dolphins, 56 types of corals, ten species of mangroves, and dozens of sea turtles, whales, seabirds, seasonal whale sharks, and humpback whales. The Park was established to protect the scenic islands and special habitats of a wide range of endemic marine animals and breeding migratory birds.

To address coral bleaching, Kenya’s REEFolution Foundation restores reefs by collecting wild coral fragments for nurseries, using scientific research and local REEF Ranger programmes to rehabilitate damaged reefs with artificial structures.

Nestled in this pristine marine environment, Pilli Pipa Dhow Safari stands out as a premier boat tour operator, giving guests exclusive access to uncrowded coral reefs. This highly sought-after experience is a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime activity where visitors can scuba dive and snorkel in a vibrant ecosystem teeming with marine life, guided by experienced professionals. The full-day adventure features two dedicated stops for snorkelling and diving within the protected marine park, and concludes with a private Swahili seafood lunch on the picturesque Wasini Island.

From Shore to Sea

On reaching Shimoni, a tranquil fishing village, we were greeted by the invigorating scent of the sea. With anticipation, I strolled along the time-worn jetty to board a shuttle boat bound for Pilli Pipa’s traditional wooden Arab dhows. The dhows, anchored nearby, swayed gently as their weathered timbers and taut ropes evoked the rich maritime history of the Indian Ocean.

I hauled myself up the ladder’s creaking rungs, gripping the frayed rope handles. Hopping onto the dhow, the gentle, resonant creak of the aged wooden hull greeted me — a blend of timbers settling beneath my weight and the sea’s soft sigh against the planks. The sound was not jarring; it was rhythmic, almost musical, and seemed to welcome me to an adventure that promised both history and excitement.

Gliding through the water, we settled in with freshly brewed tea, coffee, and traditional East African mandazis. The steady creak matched the rhythm of the waves, while the skilled crew worked seamlessly together. For an hour, we cruised the turquoise sea, spotting dolphins nearby. We stopped at the Inner Kisite coral reef, known for its sloping wall and hard corals — staghorn and brain corals, the architects, providing critical habitat for marine life.

Into the Blue

Descending into the vibrant underwater world, weighted by gear, was the highlight of the day for the scuba divers.

The reef was alive with activity: majestic groupers patrolled the deeper sections, while shoals of parrotfish and angelfish moved in synchronised patterns, creating a dynamic display of colour. Among the coral crevices, a kaleidoscope of smaller reef fish darted in and out, their movements quick and mesmerising. The divers spotted a curious octopus skilfully camouflaging itself against the rocks and watched as moray eels emerged from their hiding places and well-camouflaged sand eels peeked out of their sandy hideaways.

The seabed revealed additional wonders: delicate feather duster worms extending their plumes to filter the water, and sea cucumbers slowly traversing the ocean floor.

As a snorkeller, I too was mesmerised by the coral formations teeming with life, from tiny shrimp cleaning the scales of passing fish to vibrant sponges and soft corals swaying with the current. A vibrant wall of yellow damselfish scattered as clownfish peeked from their anemone homes and starfish sprawled across the sandy ocean floor.

Riding the Waves

Rough tides churned up sand and sediment, clouding the turquoise waters and making snorkelling a challenge for some. Murky water obscured some vibrant corals, their bright hues dulled by the swirling sediment.

However, all equipment — from life jackets to dive gear — was well maintained and individually fitted to ensure comfort and safety. The extensive selection of masks and fins enhanced the snorkelling and diving experience for everyone, even when the waters were rough. Since 1989, Pilli Pipa has operated with a dedicated team enthusiastic about travel, sailing, quality cuisine, and delivering memorable experiences. Both owners are professional marine biologists and certified dive instructors, ensuring a high standard of expertise and service.

Once back onboard and headed for Wasini Island, the dhow hammered through a sudden chop. The hull groaned like an old sea dog waking from a nap. White spray lashed the deck as the wind whistled — a clear sign the ocean was not ready to be tamed that day. Yet the crew’s seasoned expertise shone through as the skipper steered us steadily through the swells.

Time to Celebrate

This adventure was a special birthday celebration that gathered family and friends from across the world. For most of us, this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, heightening the anticipation and excitement.

There was a unique thrill that comes with stepping out of the ordinary — a spark you feel when you try something new. The Pilli Pipa Dhow Safari captured that feeling perfectly. It not only introduced us to a breathtaking new destination but also broadened our horizons with fresh experiences and perspectives.

The Soul of Coastal Cooking: Seafood, Coconut and Cardamom

On the island, rustic driftwood tables covered in colourful kanga cloth awaited us, ready for a feast. Women in bright kitenge dresses welcomed us with melodic “Karibuni”, guiding us to our seats, as the island air filled with the scents of coconut, spices, and salty sea. Ocean sounds mingled with laughter and clinking glasses to create an unforgettable island atmosphere.

Each dish was artfully presented, turning the meal into a vibrant showcase of Swahili warmth and coastal Kenyan flavours.

The culinary journey began with a fragrant coconut vegetable soup, infused with the subtle warmth of cardamom and the richness of fresh coconut milk. Succulent crab claws came next, cracked open at the table, releasing a rush of briny aroma. The meat was plump, sweet, and tender, with a pure ocean flavour — each bite offering a satisfying snap and delicate richness. Golden cassava bites added a nutty crunch, while seafood skewers, dipped in tangy tamarind sauce, added a lively, citrus-like sharpness that danced on the palate. The centrepiece was a fragrant mound of Swahili rice, delicately spiced with cardamom, cloves, and a hint of cinnamon, flanked by crispy fried seaweed and a vibrant local cabbage dish.

As we dined, the island’s energy wrapped us in warmth: the distant call of seabirds, the laughter of loved ones, and the waves’ gentle pulse. Chilled white wine and crisp beers refreshed us, their coolness a perfect counterpoint to the tropical warmth. The grand finale — a towering lemon-flavoured birthday cake — was presented with joyful fanfare, its zesty sweetness the perfect ending to an unforgettable island feast.

Reflections

Kenya’s magnificent coastline has an abundance of luxury resorts and boutique hotels, providing diverse options for relaxation and adventure. A highlight is the dhow cruise — sail the Indian Ocean, relax under palm trees, and enjoy the sunshine. The Pilli Pipa dhow cruise offers a truly memorable experience.

As the turquoise waters murmured their secrets and the tides awakened mysteries beneath the surface, I found myself immersed in an ocean state of mind — a place where tranquillity and wonder intertwine. This was not just a safari; it was an immersion into the heart of the Indian Ocean, where every splash, every shadow, and every shimmer beneath the waves promised a new story. The journey unfolded like a graceful dance, with sighs in the wind and waves that invited dreams as boundless as the horizon.

Supersports has made its debut in Dubai for ‘Full Send’ premiere https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/supersports-debuts-in-dubai-for-full-send-premiere/ Tue, 27 Jan 2026 13:10:53 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/supersports-debuts-in-dubai-for-full-send-premiere/ The new Supersports has made its debut in Bentley’s expansive region of Europe, Middle East and Africa at an exclusive event in Dubai at the end of last week.

The launch car, in its ‘Daybreak’ specification of Jetstream Matte with a livery in Arctica and Portofino, opened the evening as guests arrived. At 21:00 local time, the new Supersports: FULL SEND film, featuring a Supersports driven around the Bentley factory campus by Travis Pastrana, was launched across Bentley’s global channels, while the film was played on a 12-metre wide screen at the event. As the film finished, the modified Supersports featured in the film was driven into the event by Pastrana himself, to a rapturous reception from the crowd.

Event Highlights

400 VIP guests, including nearly 100 Supersports customers, were joined by Pastrana, along with Bentley global Brand Ambassador, Lucien Laviscount, together with Bentley’s Chairman and CEO, Dr Frank-Steffen Walliser, and Board Member for Sales & Marketing, Christophe Georges.

Guests were welcomed to the gardens of the former royal palace of Sheikha Shamma bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on the Dubai shoreline, overlooked by the Burj Al Arab, which was illuminated in Bentley green for the occasion.

Christophe Georges comments:

“The event in Dubai was not only a celebration of Supersports, but a reflection of our new brand strategy in action. We combined authenticity, new ambassadors, our extraordinary customers and unexpected product stories into one remarkable evening. Our attention now turns to working with each Supersports customer to take them on their own extraordinary journey, through an incredible world of specification possibilities.”

Supersports: FULL SEND Film

Supersports: FULL SEND, released during the event, was shot entirely at Bentley’s campus and Dream Factory in Crewe, England, in September last year. The new Supersports demonstrated its exceptional agility and performance in the hands of motorsports and extreme sports athlete and legendary stunt performer, Travis Pastrana, who drifted a modified example of the car around, across and through the entire Bentley site.

The Supersports’ combination of 666 PS, rear-wheel drive and a highly developed chassis and aerodynamics package unleashes a new level of performance ability for Bentley. To showcase the car’s agility, Pastrana created a gymkhana-type film within the grounds of Bentley’s factory, originally constructed in 1938 on Pyms Lane in Crewe – Bentley’s own ‘Pymkhana’. Supersports: FULL SEND is a celebration of the new Supersports, Pastrana’s extraordinary precision and ability, and the Bentley factory itself, recipient of significant self-funded investment over the last five years.

Order opening for the Supersports starts in March, with production beginning in Q4 2026 ahead of first deliveries at the start of 2027. The new Supersports will be available in the following countries and areas: UK, Europe (EU27 plus Switzerland and Turkey), USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Japan, Oman, Bahrain, UAE, Qatar and Kuwait.

Luxuria Reviews Exclusive private Club Auto Vivendi in London https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/luxuria-lifestyles-peter-sissons-reviews-exclusive-auto-vivendi/ Sun, 25 Jan 2026 20:20:08 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/luxuria-lifestyles-peter-sissons-reviews-exclusive-auto-vivendi/ If you go down in the London woods today — well, not in the woods, but in the leafy, well-to-do urban neighbourhood of St. John’s Wood, a stone’s throw from the famous Abbey Road studios — you are sure of a big surprise. For nestled between a light grey-blue painted stucco London villa and a modest, unadorned brick domestic house are the unpretentious, humble dark graphite-grey painted doors and a low brick gabled elevation leading to a world adorned with automotive adventure and pleasure.

The three serifed letters of a simplified A and two Vs are the only clues to the camouflaged masterpieces that await you down the short granite-paved slope leading to Auto Vivendi’s unassuming entrance — a way to the unique and truly exclusive supercar private members’ club — a sanctuary of automotive excellence opening your world to driving the latest and most powerful fine art on wheels.

Auto Vivendi is a private club for members who want to drive supercars, encapsulating reserved luxury, exclusivity, and prestige. The company directors and employees consistently demonstrate a high level of bespoke professionalism, discretion, and understatement, always highlighting good taste and restraint. Married to this company’s refined uniqueness is an £8+ million collection of 30+ mouth-watering supercars that Auto Vivendi Club members can choose from — a place to decide to experience one day driving a Ferrari, or a Porsche, then on another, a Lamborghini, Aston Martin, or McLaren. Typically, circa 20–25 new cars are added to the inimitable collection each year to keep it fresh, exciting, and up to date. Over 300 supercars have passed through Auto Vivendi’s Club doors since the company’s inception in 2014, making it the global leader in its specialist, exclusive super-automotive and complementary social events business.

As a member, you benefit from privileged early access to new releases, thanks to the Club’s strong manufacturer relationships and its ongoing investment in the world’s most sought-after cars. The choice is yours — choose your car and drive to some superb location, feeling exhilarated and fulfilled.

So, how did this crowning glory of supercar driving and enviable lifestyle experiences come into being?

In 2013, Craig Williams, a 20-year veteran London-based oil and commodities broker, tragically lost his younger brother, causing him to rethink his hectic and stressful financial life in London. The epiphany he had changed his life forever, guiding him towards a completely different business. The signpost of time signalled that life was too short and pointed him toward a fulfilling, exciting company that suited his lifestyle.

Craig joined the Club, which was originally called écurie25, and rebranded it as Auto Vivendi in 2014. He poured his entrepreneurial drive and love of supercars into building the company as a world-class community where extraordinary experiences and genuine connections sit at its heart.

The result of his entrepreneurial drive: Craig created the world’s most significant super-automotive experience — the company’s name loosely translates to “a car, a way of life” — a branding choice that tied vehicles to a lifestyle and related luxury experiences. From the beginning, the directors planned for the Club to own every supercar, with each Auto Vivendi member receiving a set number of annual days of car use and an annual mileage allowance, both dependent on the chosen level of membership. The more you invest at each membership level, the more days of usage you get and the higher your mileage allowance — see details here.

Auto Vivendi is in a significant year of success, a company blessed with enthusiastic and devoted directors who expect high standards from a loyal and professional workforce, each well-schooled in providing the highest level of luxury service to their Club’s members.

Craig Williams is Auto Vivendi’s Managing Director, overseeing all aspects of the Club’s strategy, membership experiences, and vehicle collection. His passion and devotion to detail are well known and reflected in the Club, as he ensures that spectacular events, brand partnerships, and curated member happenings run with luxurious, meticulous precision, guaranteeing members exceptional enjoyment.

While other clubs focus on the cars themselves, Auto Vivendi reimagines the experience around lifestyle and community. Speaking with Craig, he explained his philosophy behind the Club: “We didn’t want it to be about egos or exclusivity. We built it around great people, shared passions, and unforgettable experiences. It’s all about the members.”

Beyond the gleaming collection of the world’s most desirable exotic supercars just waiting to be enjoyed is a mouth-watering calendar of events for members to experience. A large part of the Auto Vivendi appeal is the experiential side of modern luxury: curated road trips, exclusive events, and a ready-made community. It suits individuals who value time, connection, and experience over a single asset.

“Auto Vivendi introduces members to cars they may never have the chance to drive in their lifetime. Some members may already own a supercar, but Club membership lets them drive 30 others. How many people can say they have access to a dream garage of 30 supercars? Also, quite often, it influences their next supercar purchase.”

Auto Vivendi redefines what luxury car usage means — with every detail handled by the Club’s expert team, it’s a seamless, stress-free experience. “The younger generation values connection, access, and experience over ownership,” Craig explains. “They might keep a favourite car, but they love the flexibility and variety that comes with being part of the Club. It’s about living the lifestyle with choice and convenience.”

Auto Vivendi is supported by a dedicated professional team that excels in every aspect of running the Club, from membership relationships to vehicle delivery and valet, brand partnerships, event planning, and driving instructors.

New members join via referrals from existing members and through high-profile media coverage and social media. There is no typical member; however, their commonality lies in achieving a degree of success and, more so, in a keen appetite for adventure and a passion for everything exciting in life. Members can enjoy their personal success to the full, along with the community and camaraderie that are ever present at Auto Vivendi — essential aspects of the Club, much appreciated given its tight-knit community and celebrity members including Jodie Kidd and, formerly, Gareth Bale.

Once a hopeful supercar driver fills out the application form — apply here — the Club’s Application Committee carefully reviews each applicant. The next stage involves an instructor assessing their driving abilities — not a test, but a fun day out to ensure the social responsibilities of Auto Vivendi are understood when driving the Club’s supercars.

Once you’re a new member of Auto Vivendi, the task is a pleasant one: deciding which supercar to drive. You can collect it from St. John’s Wood in London or have it delivered to your home, or anywhere in the UK, with five-star concierge-level service. Alternatively, collect your supercar from one of 34 superb Club Hubs, such as Fairmont in Windsor Park, Champneys Forest Mere in Hampshire, Lympstone Manor in Devon, or London Heliport. In the north, Auto Vivendi opened locations in 2021 at Hotel Gotham in Manchester and Champneys Mottram Hall in Cheshire.

Choose from recent collection additions such as the Ferrari 12Cilindri, Aston Martin Vanquish, or Lamborghini Revuelto. When a make and model are frequently requested, Auto Vivendi will purchase two to ensure members can book their preferred supercar.

To ensure members’ safety, a comprehensive briefing is always provided on the car to be driven, along with a handover video.

Please take a look at the complete Auto Vivendi collection here.

Once on the open road, all members are ambassadors of the Club, striving to uphold a high standard of social responsibility. Many members have been with the company since its early days.

Craig Williams says: “One of the things we always hear from our members is they joined for the cars but stayed for the people. We have a fantastic community of like-minded individuals who want to experience life to the full. Our philosophy is to provide our members the utmost care, lifestyle convenience, and ultimate, once-in-a-lifetime experiences.”

Exclusive partnerships with luxury global brands are also a significant benefit for Auto Vivendi members, from five-star hotels where members can enjoy exclusive European Drive Tours, to events on private yachts for the Monaco F1 Grand Prix, or invitations to dedicated events from the likes of Hublot.

Craig enthuses: “We have a wonderful partnership network that aligns with our brand and resonates with our members. In fact, we have such a good relationship that, on one occasion, when I was personally delivering a Hublot watch welcome gift along with one of our cars to a member, he accidentally ran over the watch! The watch survived intact, but the presentation box was damaged, which Hublot was happy to replace without hesitation. It’s small but heartfelt moments like this that make a member feel special and keep them at the Club.”

The Club’s annual events calendar offers a remarkable range of experiences:

~ Unrivalled luxury European drive tours, including a scenic trip through the Dolomites, or an Adventure Tour across Norway’s arctic landscape, plus ice driving on a frozen lake in specially selected Porsche Challenge cars.

~ A 200 mph challenge in Auto Vivendi’s supercars, such as the Lamborghini Revuelto, on a disused military runway.

~ Flying by private jet to Maranello for a VIP tour of the Ferrari factory, the F1 facility, the Fiorano testing track, and the spectacular museum.

~ Revelling in the sunshine at Auto Vivendi’s summer Clubhouse party, partnered with the Greek Sani Resort, Hublot watches, and the Aston Martin Valiant.

~ An intimate Q&A evening with Charles Leclerc hosted alongside Bang & Olufsen, with time on the Prodrive AV simulator.

Discover what is planned for 2026 when you become a member.

As Auto Vivendi continues to grow, it remains committed to delivering the very best the world of supercars has to offer — on the road and beyond. Synonymous with luxury, exclusivity, and unforgettable driving moments, Auto Vivendi continues to redefine what it means to be part of a supercar club.

Hot Lab redefines superyacht design with new 47m Acqua Chiara https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/hot-lab-redefines-superyacht-design-with-new-47m-acqua-chiara/ Fri, 23 Jan 2026 16:14:37 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/hot-lab-redefines-superyacht-design-with-new-47m-acqua-chiara/ Delivered in 2025 to an Italian entrepreneur, conceived for charter and managed by Fraser Yachts, Acqua Chiara has enjoyed a busy first season in the Mediterranean. Milan-based studio Hot Lab, part of the Viken Group, has revealed its latest, truly spectacular superyacht project: the 47-metre Columbus Yachts’ Acqua Chiara.

Delivered to an Italian entrepreneur in 2025, the superyacht was originally based on a 43-metre platform before being lengthened under her owner’s direction to achieve more elegant proportions and a heightened onboard balance.

A head-turning vessel on the water, Acqua Chiara follows the unmistakable design pattern of her predecessors in the Atlantique line, despite her four additional metres in length, and still fits comfortably within a 499 GT envelope.

With exterior lines by Hot Lab and naval architecture penned by Columbus Yachts, the stern lines are a defining feature of the vessel, whose identity, like all of those in the Atlantique range, is drawn from a sailing-inspired design philosophy. The aft spaces are arranged across three closely connected levels in a design which prioritises onboard liveability, whilst maintaining a strong connection with the sea.

Travelling from bow to stern, Acqua Chiara features an elegant covered dining area, a central lounge with a pool and fold-down balconies, and a flexible platform complete with a transformer, which is positioned just 50 centimetres above the waterline.

Enjoy immediate liveability

As Enrico Lumini, co-founder and design director at Hot Lab, explains, the function of Acqua Chiara as a refined and exclusive charter vessel played a major role in the studio’s particular design direction for the project.

“When a yacht is conceived with charter in mind, the priority becomes immediate liveability: guests should feel confident from minute one, even if it’s their first time on board. We focused on clarity of zoning (social vs private), intuitive circulation, and multiple parallel experiences so different groups can enjoy the yacht simultaneously.”

Notably, the yacht is built around multiple, flexible social scenes: the upper deck can shift from lounge to cinema style setup, and the main social zones are designed to support both relaxed daytime living and more formal evenings without altering the yacht’s identity.

Furthermore, the Atlantique’s unique layout also helped to bring this structure to life, as Lumini highlights:

“The stern is organised over three cascading levels that naturally separate dining, lounge/pool and sea access, while maintaining a strong connection to the water, exactly what charter guests look for day after day.”

Modern detail meets timeless warmth

Stepping inside, Acqua Chiara is designed to be universally welcoming, with a timeless, bright architectural base built upon by controlled accents, texture and crafted surfaces, creating a refined, recognisable and warm atmosphere.

The interiors’ classic appeal is enhanced through the harnessing of numerous contemporary touches, such as dark metal effect finishes, Sicis mosaic and Vetrite panels.

A truly standout area on board, her large main saloon features large custom sofas in white sponge fabric with blue edging, alongside effortlessly stylish Fendi Totu armchairs and a teak coffee table.

The white parquet floors and natural oak ceilings partially lacquered in matt white create a good, airy effect. Furthermore, lacquered wood wall coverings with a subtle metal effect frame her expansive floor-to-ceiling windows on all sides of the vessel, with guests benefitting from plentiful natural light throughout.

Quarters fit for kings and queens: Acqua Chiara accommodates up to ten guests in style and comfort across five generous staterooms, looked after by a dedicated crew of nine. The owner’s suite is located on the main deck and is effectively a private apartment, showcasing a strong design signature, dark leather framing, burnished metal details and Galaxy blue glass surfaces.

The suite is completed by a spa-grade bathroom experience with a marble bath and separate shower, all of which are covered in a stunning glass mosaic.

The additional guest quarters can be found on the lower deck. Maintaining the same fundamental design DNA as the owner’s suite, they spotlight white marble, tactile contrasts and Sicis mosaic accents in a calmer register, ensuring effortless comfort and relaxation for those on board.

An evolving design language

As the third yacht in Hot Lab and Columbus Yachts’ Atlantique line to date, Acqua Chiara also represents a major evolution in Hot Lab’s design language.

Antonio Romano, commercial and marketing director of the Viken Group and co-founder of Hot Lab explains further: “It embodies our philosophy of ‘incremental innovation’ which we have been quietly pursuing for several years. We have been working behind the scenes to improve small elements of each project to optimise both the yacht’s construction and the experience of life on board, and this has been realised through Acqua Chiara.”

Just some examples of this in practice include the clearer integration of technology into architecture so that it does not interrupt the interior’s calm (such as screens embedded into surfaces); the pairing of timeless materials with contemporary surfaces to add depth and durability; and day-to-night flexibility in social areas, where spaces shift mood through clever lighting and layout logic, rather than by rearranging the yacht itself.
