With clinics in Clapham and Balham, the practice is positioning oral health as a central pillar of overall wellbeing—where prevention, function and aesthetics work in harmony.

At the core of Ten Dental’s philosophy is the belief that a healthy smile is intrinsically linked to long-term systemic health. Expanding its preventative offering, the clinic now provides advanced oral microbiome testing (£350), a saliva-based analysis that evaluates bacterial balance to identify early risk factors for gum disease, tooth decay and chronic inflammation. With growing evidence connecting oral health to cardiovascular disease, metabolic conditions and wider inflammatory processes, this data-driven approach allows clinicians to design highly personalised treatment plans before symptoms arise.

Further reinforcing its longevity focus, Ten Dental has introduced custom mandibular advancement device (MAD) splints (£1,500), fitted by Dr Ali Nassar, who has a special interest in sleep medicine. Designed to improve airflow during sleep by gently repositioning the jaw, the device reduces snoring and supports deeper, more restorative rest—an increasingly important factor in long-term health. As Dr Nassar explains, “Improving sleep quality isn’t just about feeling better day to day, it plays a fundamental role in long-term health and how well we age.”

Alongside its preventative innovations, Ten Dental remains a destination for advanced smile makeovers and restorative dentistry. Co-founder Dr Martin Wanendeya is internationally recognised for his pioneering implant techniques, including a refined full-arch bridge approach that preserves natural bone and gum structure. This minimally invasive method enhances long-term stability, simplifies maintenance and delivers superior aesthetic results using advanced ceramic materials, offering patients a future-focused alternative to traditional implant systems.

The clinic’s multidisciplinary team also delivers a full spectrum of cosmetic and general dentistry treatments, from Invisalign, bonding and whitening to full smile rehabilitation. Known for their natural, camera-ready results, Ten Dental is particularly supportive of smile makeover features, often collaborating closely with press and patients on transformative journeys.

Beyond dentistry, Ten Dental + Facial integrates non-surgical aesthetic treatments to complement and enhance overall facial harmony. This holistic approach ensures that smile design is considered within the wider context of facial structure, ageing and skin health, creating results that feel balanced, subtle and individual.

With increasing interest in wellness trends such as mouth taping, Ten Dental continues to provide expert, evidence-based guidance on the connection between breathing, sleep and oral health. Emphasising the importance of nasal breathing and airway function, the clinic’s approach reflects a broader shift towards treating the mouth as an integral part of whole-body health.

By combining cutting-edge science, clinical expertise and aesthetic precision, Ten Dental + Facial is redefining what modern dentistry looks like—moving beyond reactive treatment towards a proactive, longevity-driven model designed to support patients at every stage of life.

A new era of wellness in London: Wellverse fitness ecosystem https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/a-new-era-of-wellness-in-london-wellverse-fitness-ecosystem/ Sat, 25 Apr 2026 07:29:55 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=110664 A new benchmark in London’s wellness landscape is set to launch on 20 April 2026 with the arrival of Wellverse: a first-of-its-kind, fully integrated wellness ecosystem designed to meet every version of you, every day.

Bringing together some of London’s leading fitness brands – Frame, FLOW and ROWBOTS – spanning high-energy, expressive training, reformer Pilates and yoga, and performance-driven strength, Wellverse unites the capital’s most dynamic fitness concepts under one seamless booking platform.

Accessible via a new website and app, the Wellverse Membership unlocks unlimited access across the seven London locations.

A Complete Wellness Ecosystem

Wellverse has been built to remove friction from the fitness experience, offering members the freedom to move between disciplines, locations and moods – all under one membership, and across over 50 class types.

At the heart of Wellverse is a portfolio of distinct brands, each offering its own approach to movement:

FLOW delivers a considered, low-impact yet results-driven programme, centred on infrared mat Pilates and yoga, reformer Pilates, dynamic and slow flow yoga, barre, and strength and sculpt classes – designed to build strength, improve mobility and support long-term wellbeing.

ROWBOTS takes a more performance-led approach, built around its signature rowing classes – 50-minute classes that combine the rower and floor-based training in structured intervals designed to build strength, focus, and momentum – alongside dedicated strength training sessions. Underpinned by its ‘Machine Mindset’, the concept places equal emphasis on physical performance and mental conditioning, stripping movement back to its most powerful and efficient form.

Frame, known for its energy and creativity, offers a diverse and expressive schedule spanning dance cardio, rebounding, music video classes, strength training, deep release reformer, hip-opening flows, mandala flow yoga, candlelit yin yoga, sound baths and anxiety release yoga, delivering everything from high-intensity workouts to restorative, feel-good movement.

Completing the ecosystem, MUMHOOD at Frame offers dedicated pre- and postnatal fitness, including Pilates, yoga and reformer, ensuring movement evolves with every stage of life – because at Wellverse, wellness doesn’t pause for motherhood.

The Membership

The Wellverse Membership is priced from £120 to £225 per month, offering up to 31 classes across all studios and concepts within the Wellverse ecosystem. Designed with flexibility in mind, memberships operate on a one-month rolling basis with no joining fees, allowing members to cancel with 30 days’ notice ahead of their next billing cycle. For those looking to commit longer-term, an annual option is also available, offering 12 months for the price of 10 when purchasing the full year upfront.

To mark the launch, Wellverse will also introduce a two-week “Enter the Wellverse” taster pass priced at £75, offering up to 14 classes across the ecosystem.

ROWBOTS Residency: A New Chapter in Hybrid Training

Launching in Summer 2026, after the membership debut, ROWBOTS will introduce their first-ever residency at Frame King’s Cross. The residency will feature a dedicated ROWBOTS class programme, bringing its signature strength-led, performance-focused training to a wider audience.

A New Way to Experience Wellness

Wellverse is more than a membership – it is a fully connected approach to movement, designed around the realities of modern life. Whether seeking intensity, recovery, community or calm, members can move fluidly between disciplines without restriction. This is not just fitness. It’s an ecosystem built around how people really live, train and feel.

Greg Zimmerman, Co-Founder, Wellverse, comments:
“Wellverse was created to solve a problem we kept coming back to – fitness in London is incredible, but it’s fragmented. People are forced to choose between disciplines, locations or memberships, when in reality, they want variety and flexibility. Wellverse removes that friction entirely, giving people one place to access everything, and the freedom to move however they want, whenever they want, across best-in-class brands.”

Sam Green, Co-Founder, Wellverse, adds:

“What’s been missing from the industry is a system that reflects real behaviour. People don’t train the same way every day – sometimes you want intensity, sometimes recovery, sometimes something completely new. Wellverse is designed around that mindset, bringing different modalities, communities, and experiences into one ecosystem so people can build a routine that is both sustainable and adaptable over time.”

Enter The Wellverse

Locations include: Frame (Victoria, Shoreditch, Angel, King’s Cross, Hammersmith), FLOW (Tottenham Street), ROWBOTS (Fitzrovia)

Membership pricing:
Wellverse offers four membership tiers: 6 classes (£120), 8 classes

(£152), 12 classes (£195) and 31 classes (£225) per month – each

My Hair Transplant Journey so far with Dr Tam, London https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/my-hair-transplant-journey-so-far-with-dr-tam-london/ Tue, 21 Apr 2026 08:32:42 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=110535 I work as a tennis coach, so most of my time is spent out on court, talking to people face-to-face. Confidence kind of comes with the job, whether you like it or not. Over the last couple of years, though, I started noticing my hairline creeping back a bit, as in the photo above, not the end of the world, I know, but it did start to get in my head more than I expected.

Eventually, I decided to actually do something about it and booked a consultation with Dr Mark Tam on Harley Street in London. I’d heard the name before and knew people travel from all over for it, so I thought, why not at least see what Dr Tam had to say?

From the first appointment, it all felt pretty straightforward. No sales pitch, no overpromising, just a normal conversation about what was going on and what could realistically be done. That was probably the biggest thing for me. It didn’t feel like I was being pushed into anything.

Dr Tam explained the whole process in a way that actually made sense. Not overly technical, just clear, what happens, how long it takes, what to expect afterwards. And yeah, they were very upfront about the fact that this isn’t some instant fix. If you’re expecting to walk out with perfect hair overnight… you’re probably dreaming (or buying a wig, to be honest).

One thing I appreciated was how much they emphasised patience. I was told early on that the transplanted hairs would shed in the first few weeks, so when that happened, I didn’t panic. Apparently, the real growth doesn’t properly kick in until around 3–4 months, and full results can take up to a year. Sounds like a long time, but at least I knew what I was signing up for.

The procedure itself was… honestly, smoother than I expected.  I went in a bit nervous, not going to lie, but the whole environment was calm and professional, which helped settle me pretty quickly. It started with an early morning session, where the treatment area was marked out, and the hair follicles to be removed were identified. To put it simply, those follicles were then carefully placed into the receding hairline. The whole process took several hours, but we did get a good break in the middle for a burger and fries, which definitely helped.  A few hours later, it was all done, and I was sent home with aftercare instructions, simple enough to follow, no confusion.

Now I’m about six weeks in, and I’m very much in that awkward middle stage. The hairs have shed (as promised), and there’s no new growth yet, but again, I knew this was coming. It’s a bit of a waiting game now. The upside is, it doesn’t actually look weird or obvious, which I was slightly worried about.

Another thing that’s been good is the follow-up. They don’t just send you on your way and forget about you; there are check-ins planned over the next year to keep an eye on things. It makes it feel more like an ongoing process rather than a one-off thing.

It’s still early, so I can’t say much about results yet, but overall I feel good about the decision. Just taking action on something that was bothering me has made a difference mentally, if nothing else.

Six weeks down… a fair bit to go. I’ll keep an eye on how it develops; hopefully, the interesting part starts soon.

So watch this space…

6 Ways to Sustainably Support Weight Loss https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/6-ways-to-sustainably-support-weight-loss/ Fri, 17 Apr 2026 09:20:52 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=110457 These days, there’s a lot of pressure to lose weight quickly, with fad diets and influencers pushing intense cardio. Many of these approaches promise fast results, but they’re often hard to maintain in real life. People start strong, then slowly feel too drained to follow the strict rules. That can lead to rebound habits that make it harder to keep progress.

A slower, gentler approach to weight loss helps you build habits that are realistic and supportive, creating a healthier rhythm you can actually maintain. Here are six ways to support weight loss in a gentle, sustainable way.

Try Slow Strength Training Instead of HIIT

High-intensity workouts like HIIT promise fast results, but when you do them all the time, they can be draining, especially if you don’t give your body enough time to recover. This leads to a cycle where you push hard, only to need longer breaks due to fatigue.

Slow strength training offers a gentler but steadier approach. This includes controlled movements like pilates and light resistance work. You build strength without pushing your body into exhaustion, making exercise more sustainable.

Prioritise Consistency, Not Perfection

It’s best to stay consistent by building flexible habits you can easily return to. That might mean aiming for three workouts a week instead of seven, or committing to easy daily movement, like walking or stretching. Adjust based on your energy rather than imposing strict rules. With a more forgiving, realistic rhythm, progress becomes much easier to maintain.

Keep Meals Simple and Repeatable

Rotate a few healthy, easy meals you enjoy and can prepare without stress, such as grilled chicken with roasted vegetables, or rice bowls with your favourite toppings. You can make these meals more luxurious by adding small touches like fresh herbs or a drizzle of olive oil, just so things don’t get too repetitive. Meals become easier to manage, so you stay consistent with your eating habits without feeling overwhelmed by plating overly complicated meals.

Create a Calm Eating Environment

Eating in a rushed or distracted state can make it harder to notice fullness and enjoy your meals. That can lead to overeating or not feeling fully satisfied afterwards. Creating a calm space around meals can change that.

Sit down, slow your pace, and reduce distractions to make eating more intentional. It’s one of the best transformative practices to love your body more because it helps foster a healthy relationship with food in a gentle, mindful way. Your body will feel more in tune with natural hunger and fullness cues, which supports weight loss without feeling restrictive.

Look Into Medical Guidance

If you feel like lifestyle changes aren’t enough to help you lose weight, you can also turn to medical guidance. A healthcare professional can discuss options like microdosing semaglutide to gently regulate your appetite and manage your weight. They’ll also guide you on nutrition and movement habits that will work best for your lifestyle. This kind of guidance can help make your weight loss journey easier to maintain.

Track More Than the Scale

Relying only on the scale to measure your progress can feel discouraging when change is slow. However, bodily changes often show up in other ways first, even when the number on the scale doesn’t move quickly. Track other things to measure success, like your energy levels, sleep quality, and how well your clothes fit. This helps shift your focus away from daily weight fluctuations and toward more meaningful long-term changes.

Endnote

A gentler approach to weight loss gives your body space to respond in its own time. Instead of chasing intensity, follow our tips above. In time, you’ll notice steady progress, all while keeping your mind and body calm and happy.

Leading Italian Skincare Brand Miami Launches in the UK https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/leading-italian-skincare-brand-miami-launches-in-the-uk/ Sun, 12 Apr 2026 12:01:32 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=110361 Family-owned clinical Italian skincare brand prepares to introduce its science-led protocols to British consumers.

Italian clinical skincare brand Miamo will launch in the UK market this April, marking a carefully considered step in its international expansion following more than a decade of growth in Italy.

Founded in 2012, Miamo remains entirely family-managed across every pivotal role.

Co-founding Pharmacists Dr Elena Aceto di Capriglia and her daughter Dr Camilla D’Antonio shape the brand’s scientific vision through an enriching intergenerational dialogue, powered by advanced scientific research and a results-driven approach.

Steering the overall strategic direction of the brand’s holding is co-founder, son and brother Giovanni D’Antonio, Chief Executive Officer, combining a forward-thinking vision with an uncompromising commitment to integrity.

The name ‘Miamo’ carries a value-driven meaning at the heart of the brand. Translated as ‘I love myself’, it reflects a philosophy of self-care and lifelong wellbeing, turning everyday routines into conscious acts of empowerment. Over the past decade, Miamo has built a strong reputation and loyal following in Italy, growing into a multi-million-pound business. The brand works closely with pharmacies, clinics, medical spas and skincare professionals, while continuing to invest heavily in research, development, clinical testing and patenting.

The UK has been identified as a natural next step in the brand’s expansion, reflecting both the strength of the skincare market and the growing demand among British consumers for results-driven, science-led formulations. Miamo will begin its UK rollout with an online launch in April, followed by a retail debut with a carefully selected partner planned for September, ensuring the brand enters the market in the right environment and with the appropriate level of support. Opportunities to introduce Miamo within selected spas and professional environments are also being explored.

Science sits at the core of Miamo’s identity, reflecting a family background in pharmaceuticals, chemistry and research, and guiding every aspect of formulation, testing and product development. This commitment underpins the brand’s belief that effective skincare must be rooted in rigorous scientific research. Products are formulated using advanced active ingredients, developed and tested in trusted laboratories, and supported by clinical, instrumental and dermatological studies. Each batch is also tested for nickel content to minimise the risk of allergies or intolerances, reflecting the brand’s commitment to safety and transparency.

Every product is thoughtfully designed in Italy by a highly skilled internal R&D team, guiding the process from concept to production. Research and innovation play a central role in the company’s success, with patented complexes developed through years of study and clinical experience. Among these are proprietary technologies such as ELPA25®, a patented non-photosensitising peel for very sensitive skin, originally developed by Dr Camilla following her own experience with pigmentation and melasma, and Epigenage® was created through research into epigenetic modulation of DNA transcription. These scientific foundations position Miamo at the forefront of functional, results-driven skincare.

Dr Camilla D’Antonio comments: “The UK represents an exciting and important step in our international journey. We see a strong alignment between the British consumer and our science-led approach to skincare, particularly the growing demand for transparency, clinical testing and personalised protocols.

Entering the UK market allows us to share our methodology and pharmaceutical heritage with a new audience, while maintaining the same standards of research, education and efficacy that have defined Miamo in Italy for more than a decade.”

At the heart of the brand is the Miamo System, a structured methodology designed to personalise skincare routines through tailored protocols. Today, the brand offers more than 100 customisable protocols developed to address a wide range of skin conditions and concerns. Each routine follows up to a six-step sequence designed to maintain skin balance and maximise efficacy: cleansing, exfoliation, stimulation, treatment, hydration and protection.

A defining element of this approach is the science of serum layering, for which Miamo is particularly known. Rather than relying on a single product, multiple serums can be layered in a specific sequence, allowing several skin concerns to be addressed simultaneously and synergistically through compatible active ingredients. This method enables a highly personalised routine, reflecting the brand’s broader philosophy of inclusivity and tailored skincare, recognising that every individual’s skin, environment and lifestyle are different.

Within the full product range, several formulations have become standouts in Italy, particularly in anti-ageing, hydration and pigmentation-focused treatments. Hero products include the Renewal Peel Serum, an exfoliating peeling serum formulated with ELPA25®, a patented, new-generation blend of acids that stimulates cell regeneration without irritating or drying the skin. It is non-photosensitising and can be safely used even during sun exposure. In 2022, a scientific study published in the prestigious Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology confirmed the safety and efficacy of the peel, including on sensitive, dry and delicate skin.

The Age Reverse and Longevity Plus lines, supported by one granted patent and two patents pending, have achieved outstanding results, reflecting strong consumer demand for performance-driven skincare solutions designed to support long-term skin health.

Education is central to the Miamo philosophy. In Italy, the brand works with a network of more than 50 trained skincare consultants, providing consumers with personalised guidance and treatment planning, a model the company intends to introduce in the UK. Training is also a major area of investment, with specialist education provided to pharmacists, clinicians and skincare professionals, and educational materials developed by Dr Camilla are used within professional training programmes.

Having a strong in-store presence remains important to the brand, allowing direct dialogue with customers and the creation of bespoke protocols based on individual skin needs. Today, Miamo products are showcased in more than 1,700 retail locations in Italy, supported by an engaged and loyal community built through ongoing education and communication.

Miamo is positioned as a premium skincare brand, focusing on ingredient quality, clinical efficacy and personalised routines rather than luxury positioning. The brand recognises that effective skincare often requires multiple products working together, and pricing is structured to allow consumers to build tailored protocols suited to their individual needs.

Responsibility forms a core part of the company’s philosophy, spanning scientific, social and environmental commitments.

The brand continues to invest in more sustainable formulations and packaging solutions, including refillable components where possible. Dr Elena is also actively involved in social initiatives focused on supporting young people and promoting selfconfidence, reflecting the brand’s wider belief that skincare and wellbeing are closely connected.

Refined, Radiant Skin Thanks to Marylebone Skin Clinic https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/refined-radiant-skin-thanks-to-marylebone-skin-clinic-2/ Tue, 07 Apr 2026 09:29:33 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=109822 I recently had a laser treatment with Dr Denning at her London clinic, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience and the results. From the moment I arrived, everything felt professional, calm, and reassuring, which immediately put me at ease, although I was thinking more along the lines of a little filler and wrinkle relaxant, but was gently guided towards a more forward-thinking treatment!

What really stood out to me was how clearly the technical info of the treatment was explained. Dr Denning took the time to chat with me about how the laser works at a deeper level, targeting specific layers of the skin with various lasers to stimulate collagen production, reduce redness and refine the skin texture, while preserving the surrounding tissue. She explained how the wavelength selection and pulse duration are carefully calibrated to ensure maximum effect, which gave me real confidence that the treatment was both advanced and safe.

During the treatment itself, I appreciated how precise and controlled everything felt. The technology is impressive, and I could tell that great care was taken to ensure perfect coverage. Despite the sophistication of the process, the treatment was surprisingly comfortable, thanks to the cooling system and Dr Denning’s attentive approach.

Immediately following the treatment, my skin felt extremely hot and looked a little red, but within the hour had completely cooled down.  The explanation about the skin’s natural healing process, where lower levels within the skin involve the regeneration and gradual healing, really helped me understand what was happening beneath the surface. Over the following weeks, I saw a visible improvement in texture, tone, and overall radiance.

Overall, this was a great experience that combined amazing up-to-date technology with a genuinely personal touch. Dr Denning’s expertise and ability to communicate the science in layman’s terms made all the difference. I would absolutely recommend her clinic to anyone considering laser treatments.

To round off my appointment with Dr Denning, we agreed that a small amount of muscle relaxant would be useful around my eye area. A small amount was expertly placed around the brow to gently open up my eyes, as well as along the jawline to help relax the tight neck muscles.

I’ve had muscle relaxants to lift my brows several times over the past several years, but this is the first time the result has been so even and subtle. My brows were uniformly lifted in a way that looked completely natural, an outcome I was genuinely impressed by.

The treatment to my neck was equally successful, softening and making the ‘turkey neck’ far less noticeable. Overall, the results felt very much in keeping with a natural look.

Consultations can be booked with Dr Catharine Denning by visiting Marylebone Skin

Bhuti Facial Ritual That Left Me Radiant Inside and Out https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/bhuti-facial-ritual-that-left-me-radiant-inside-and-out/ Mon, 06 Apr 2026 18:25:23 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=110072 I recently had a facial at Bhuti in The Bingham Riverhouse in Richmond, and honestly, it was such a lovely experience, probably one of the most relaxing treatments I’ve had in a long time.

From the moment I arrived, the setting really stood out. The hotel sits right by the Thames, and there’s something about being near the water that just makes you slow down a bit. It didn’t feel rushed or overly busy, more like a quiet little escape from everything.

When I stepped into the facial room, it immediately felt calm and cosy. The lighting was soft, there were these really subtle, soothing scents in the air, and it just had that peaceful atmosphere where you can feel your shoulders drop without even thinking about it.

The facial itself lasted 75 minutes, and it flew by (always a good sign). There were a few different massage techniques involved, but the lymphatic drainage was the main focus. I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect going in, but it ended up feeling incredibly gentle and relaxing, so much so that I actually drifted off for a bit at one point.

Rebecca, my therapist, was great. She had a really calm, reassuring presence, and you could tell she knew exactly what she was doing. She explained parts of the treatment as she went along, which I appreciated; it made the whole experience feel more personal and thoughtful, rather than just going through the motions.

Afterwards, I did notice a difference pretty quickly. My skin looked fresher, a bit more lifted, and the redness had calmed down. Even my face felt less puffy, which was a nice bonus. But more than anything, I just felt really relaxed, like that lingering calm you don’t always get after treatments.

All in all, it was a genuinely enjoyable experience. Not just about the results, but the whole feeling of it. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re after something that’s both effective and properly relaxing, without feeling too clinical or over the top.

D. Thomas Clinic: The future of Skin Health https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/d-thomas-clinic-the-future-of-skin-health/ Mon, 30 Mar 2026 10:34:42 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=109996 Debbie Thomas is widely regarded as one of London’s leading skin and laser experts, known for her highly personalised, results-driven approach at the D.Thomas Clinic in Chelsea. With over two decades of experience and more than 40,000 hours of hands-on clinical practice, she has built a reputation as a trusted authority in skin health, delivering transformative results while always prioritising long-term skin integrity.

Often referred to as the “skin whisperer” and “laser queen,” Debbie has developed a philosophy that moves away from traditional anti-ageing narratives. Her focus is firmly on skin health, longevity and intelligent treatment planning, working with the skin to strengthen and restore rather than aggressively treating it.

At the heart of her clinic is a completely bespoke methodology. Every client begins with an in-depth consultation, allowing treatments to be tailored to their individual skin history, lifestyle and concerns. This is underpinned by her signature approach of Treat, Repair, Maintain, a framework designed to deliver both immediate results and long-term improvement.

The D.Thomas Clinic is known for combining advanced technologies with a deep understanding of how skin behaves over time. Treatments range from laser and light therapies to needling, skin boosters and non-invasive rejuvenation, all carefully curated to support the skin barrier, reduce inflammation and encourage natural regeneration.

Her approach avoids one-size-fits-all solutions, instead focusing on consistency, balance and sustainable results. A key part of Debbie’s work is education and training. She is widely respected within the industry for mentoring practitioners and setting a higher standard in how skin treatments are delivered, with an emphasis on knowledge, precision and patient care.

Building on her clinical expertise, Debbie has also launched her skincare brand, CELLIS. Developed in response to years of working closely with patients, the range is designed to simplify routines while delivering professional-level results at home. CELLIS is built around the idea of intelligent simplicity, offering multi-functional products that support the skin barrier and overall skin health without unnecessary complexity.

The formulations are rooted in clinical experience, using carefully selected active ingredients to strengthen, repair and maintain the skin daily. Reborne – London’s 360° Longevity Hospital https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/reborne-londons-360-longevity-hospital/ Thu, 26 Mar 2026 16:27:00 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=109930 Reborne is a private longevity hospital complete with its own operating theatre, offering a fully integrated 360-degree approach rooted in P4 Medicine (predictive, preventative, personalised and participatory care). It blends luxury with genuine medical infrastructure, diagnostics and regenerative capability.

New to their repertoire is Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE), currently trending following Gwyneth Paltrow’s feature on GOOP. While increasingly discussed in wellness circles and documented among figures such as LeAnn Rimes, Orlando Bloom, Simon Cowell and Paltrow herself, TPE is not a cosmetic wellness gadget — it is hospital-grade medicine.

Reborne is the only private clinic in the UK to house the Spectra Optia Apheresis System, the same continuous-flow centrifugal technology trusted across more than 300 NHS sites for over five decades. This is not a consumer device; it is hospital-grade equipment with an exceptional safety profile demonstrated across millions of procedures.

The service is led by Dr Hisham Said, Consultant Anaesthetist and Intensive Care Physician, ensuring the highest medical oversight. Treatment duration is approximately 1.5–2 hours, significantly shorter than older systems.

Importantly, beyond the celebrity headlines, there is emerging clinical data. The randomised, controlled AMBAR trial demonstrated clinically meaningful slowing of decline in Alzheimer’s disease using plasma exchange with albumin replacement, showing:

52% less decline in daily functioning / 66% less decline in cognition / 71% less decline on CDR-sb / 100% less decline on clinician global impression

The strongest effects were observed in moderate-stage patients, suggesting potential disease-modifying impact rather than purely symptomatic relief.

With TPE now trending in public discourse, this presents a timely opportunity to explore what it actually means in a medically supervised setting.

The Bhuti Facelift Ritual: Ancient Meets Modern https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/the-bhuti-facelift-ritual-ancient-meets-modern/ Wed, 25 Mar 2026 15:17:03 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=109905 In response to the demand for transformative results without the need for aesthetics bhuti has created a hi-tech holistic facial, bhuti facelift ritual. The new facial can be found exclusively at bhuti, the soul health space at Bingham Riverhouse, the boutique hotel and members club, Richmond. The facial was created in collaboration with facialist Rebecca Maguire, whose 25 years of experience and extensive training in advanced high-touch techniques have helped to craft this unique experience.

Rebecca’s advanced knowledge of the face, including its muscles and lymph nodes, has enabled her to develop a treatment that lifts and sculpts your face. Her extensive training in innovative lymphatic skin brushing and intraoral buccal massage has been used to create a unique facial concept that helps lift and release. A bespoke hot poultice combines a unique mix of herbs and spices to reduce inflammation and enhance the skin’s moisture and texture. Each facial treatment is personalised to your skin and wellbeing journey.

It works both skin-deep and soul-deep. Each movement is attuned to your unique needs in the moment — lifting, contouring, softening, and grounding. The treatment ritual opens and closes with sound healing to enhance your relaxation. The facial is not only a soulful ritual to restore balance, but it also releases toxins and renews the skin, creating a transformative, natural facial with instant, uplifting results.

At bhuti, which means wellbeing in Sanskrit, the focus extends beyond conventional wellness. Sama Trinder, founder, comments, ‘It has been wonderful working with Rebecca to create this uplifting and functional treatment. The bhuti treatment suite is a warm, cocoon-like space, infused with scent, sound, and stillness, and includes an infrared sauna and relaxation space. The treatment will leave you feeling lifted, luminous, and glowing.”

Alongside the bhuti facelift ritual, the bhuti treatment space launched their bhuti signature massage created by Sama Trinder, legendary sound healer Anne Malone (Oasis of Sound) and Aromatherapist Kay Sabre. Together, they have created a unique healing treatment ritual. The signature massage rituals available are one-of-a-kind, combining the therapeutic benefits of sound healing and aromatherapy massage.

Each aspect of the treatment space has been carefully considered to create a healing space, from the calming relaxation room to the herbal tea blend for each of the treatment states (for stillness, love or joy) served upon arrival.

Emma Blunt Visits Not Just Blond: A Hair Studio Built On Attention https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/emma-blunt-visits-not-just-blond-a-hair-studio-built-on-attention/ Tue, 24 Mar 2026 16:21:18 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=109909 Containerville isn’t the sort of place you stumble into by accident. Tucked behind the main road, just off the canal at 1 Emma Street in Hackney Wick, its cluster of converted containers feels slightly separate from the rest of London — practical, creative, a little rough around the edges in a way that makes the spaces inside feel intentional rather than styled.

Not Just Blond occupies one of these units — a small hair (and soon to be wellness) studio founded by Daniela and Domenico, built around just a few chairs. From the outside, it looks modest; inside, it feels deliberate. It’s immediately clear that the scale is the point. There’s no background noise from other clients, no rows of multiple mirrors, no sense of being moved along. Just soft light, a place to sit, and a space that feels clear in its purpose.

Daniela, co-owner and head stylist greeted me as though I’d been coming for years. Tea appeared without much fuss, and within minutes we were talking — not just about hair, but about life, work, the usual small threads that make a conversation feel real. It didn’t feel like a consultation in the formal sense, but the important questions were all there: how I wear my hair day to day, how much effort I realistically put into it (the realities of my travel schedule play a big part here), what I like, what I don’t, what I’m hoping for without quite knowing how to describe it.

Daniela explains her approach simply: “Listening to a client’s lifestyle and how they want to feel is just as important as how they want their hair to look.” She speaks with the calm certainty of someone who has spent years observing what works — noting face shape, natural texture, skin tone, and the level of maintenance someone is genuinely willing to commit to.

I had arrived feeling that my hair was fine but uninspired — slightly dull, lacking softness, not quite sitting right. We talked about keeping things natural: brightness without obvious contrast, movement without heavy layering, something that would still feel like me.

Daniela’s approach centres on working with what’s already there. “I normally work respecting the client’s natural base, always trying to achieve a natural look with dimension rather than strong colour that becomes difficult to maintain,” she explains. “Using something that grows softly after months.”

That idea – hair that still makes sense as time passes – felt refreshing in a world of instant transformations.

The story of how Not Just Blond came to exist is rooted in persistence rather than a single moment. Domenico explains that from the beginning, they knew they wanted to build something together, though the exact shape wasn’t clear. “We wanted to open a salon built around client experience — something exclusive for Daniela’s clientele and something that could evolve,” he says.

The search for a location proved challenging until an unexpected discovery. While visiting a tattoo artist, Domenico found himself in Containerville and immediately recognised its potential. He had long been drawn to compact living spaces — “tiny containers” as he describes them — and saw the setting as a natural fit. He went home and told Daniela he had found the place.

The name followed its own path. After exploring several options, they settled on Not Just Blond — a phrase that carries both humour and intention. “It represents that it’s not just about appearance,” Domenico says. “It’s about personality, depth and creativity.” Importantly, it also signals that the studio works across all hair colours and types, despite what the name might suggest at first glance.

As we talked, it became clear that the one-to-one structure evolved organically. “We realised clients valued intimacy and personal attention,” Domenico explains. “So we built the experience around that — consultation, service, conversation.”

He describes the studio’s philosophy simply: “Calm. Personal. Private.”

Back in the chair, Daniela began working with quiet concentration. Without the background noise of a larger salon, every movement felt considered. Conversation flowed easily — sometimes animated, sometimes companionable in its pauses.

At a certain point, I found myself saying something I rarely say: “do what you think is best”. The trust felt natural rather than dramatic — built through conversation rather than persuasion.

Daniela speaks about inspirational images with a practical mindset. “I reflect inspiration into something personal,” she says. “Not all looks are suitable for everybody — honesty is important.” Her focus remains on creating something that suits the individual rather than replicating an idea.

As the colour developed, we spoke about maintenance and the realities of keeping hair healthy. Daniela emphasises consistency over quick fixes. “Using the right products makes a huge difference,” she says. “I always guide clients when it comes to aftercare at home.”

Product choice is another area where intention shows. The studio works with Davines, a B-Corp brand known for its plant-based formulations and environmental focus. Domenico notes that sustainability is something they are always looking to improve – it sits at the forefront of their thinking, with small decisions made consciously day to day.

Between steps, Domenico spoke about the broader vision for Not Just Blond. They are preparing to open a treatment space next door (Not Just Beauty) that will introduce services such as Japanese head spa rituals, relaxation treatments and red light therapy. The aim is to connect beauty with wellbeing in a way that feels integrated rather than separate. The brand – NJB – clearly has room to grow. “We’ve always wanted to expand into spaces that connect beauty with wellness and mental health,” he says. “It’s a multi-sensory experience — calming and restorative.”

As Daniela moved into the cut, the focus shifted to shape and movement. She worked carefully, refining rather than reshaping, creating softness through subtle adjustments. Watching in the mirror, I could see the logic of each decision — nothing excessive, nothing rushed. When she finished drying my hair, the result felt immediately right. There was brightness without harshness, softness without loss of structure. Running my fingers through it, I noticed how smooth it felt — lighter, healthier, more natural.

It’s subtle – not just the appearance, but the way you carry yourself afterwards.

Before leaving, we spoke briefly about the community that has formed around the studio. Domenico describes Not Just Blond as a place where connections develop — clients from different creative fields meeting, conversations continuing, collaborations emerging.

Stepping back into the yard at Containerville, the late afternoon light caught the metal edges of the containers, and the hum of activity continued around me. I paused briefly by a window, catching sight of my reflection — hair falling easily, brighter than when I arrived.

There’s a straightforward honesty to what Daniela and Domenico have created: a studio built on attention, conversation, and the belief that care should feel personal rather than procedural. It’s a model that relies less on scale and more on intention — something increasingly rare, and quietly compelling.

UK Sleep Crisis: One in five Brits suffer from mild sleep apnoea https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/uk-sleep-crisis-one-in-five-brits-suffer-from-mild-sleep-apnoea/ Mon, 23 Mar 2026 10:56:29 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=109684 ● Brits are sleeping less year on year, with only 7 hours 16 minutes of sleep on average in 2025, a Withings study finds.

● Men over the age of fifty are most likely to suffer from sleep apnoea in the UK

Brits are suffering from sleep conditions which could affect their long-term health, new research from Withings today reveals. One in five Brits (22%) suffer from mild sleep apnoea – a condition which disrupts breathing during sleep – with almost a quarter of the year (23%) spent suffering from signs of mild sleep apnoea in 2025.

Sleep apnoea is usually categorised by severity: mild, moderate, or severe based on the average number of breathing interruptions per hour. Withings analysed the prevalence of signs of mild sleep apnoea apparent in users in the UK across over 2 million nights (2,138,878), revealing that this silent killer is a lot more common than many people realise.

Poor lifestyle choices, stress and long working hours in the UK could all be contributing factors when it comes to sleep issues. Compared to the rest of Europe, Brits ranked higher than Germany and France when comparing the number of mild sleep apnoea episodes per person in 2025, with 18% of users with signs of mild sleep apnoea in France and 17% of users with signs of mild sleep apnoea in Germany (versus 22% of Brits in the UK).

Sleep quality is gradually getting worse on a national level, with Brits’ average sleep score rated at 72 in 2025 – down from a score of 75 in 2024. This score, calculated by Withings’ algorithm, is based on a combined analysis of nighttime heart rate, total sleep duration, deep, light, and REM sleep phases, nighttime interruptions, breathing difficulties, time to fall asleep, and time to wake up. Brits are also getting less sleep year on year, with an average of 7 hours 24 minutes in 2024 versus only 7 hours 16 minutes in 2025.

Beyond sleep duration, the 2025 data reveals marked seasonal variations with Brits sleeping the least on 1st July 2025 and 5th July 2024. They also sleep the longest on average on 5th January 2025 and 27th October 2024, indicating that the seasons play an important role in the amount of sleep British people get at different points throughout the year.

Age heavily influences sleep apnoea prevalence, with the average British sufferer of mild sleep apnoea aged 57, close to the global average of 56. The mean age of all users sampled in the UK is 51, suggesting that sleep disturbances are more prevalent once people hit their fifties.

Not only that, but men in the UK are most likely to suffer from sleep apnoea, with 26% experiencing the medical condition versus only 14% of women. The exact causes for this are unknown, but it can be explained by differences in body weight, upper airway anatomy, breathing control, hormones and ageing, which could all play a role.[1]

The link between Mild Sleep Apnoea and Cardiovascular Risk

Poor sleep is no longer just a lifestyle complaint; it is a global health emergency. On average, 1 billion people[2] worldwide are affected by sleep apnoea. It remains one of the most dangerous and underdiagnosed conditions, resulting in a significantly higher risk of cardiovascular health problems:

● 1.6x increased risk of Type 2 diabetes
● 3x higher risk of developing hypertension
● 4x higher risk of developing AFib

Whilst the Withings research reveals that one in five Brits suffer from signs of ‘mild’ sleep apnoea, it shouldn’t be ignored, as new independent scientific research by Flinders University in collaboration with Withings, conducted over four years with 30,000 participants across 20 countries using Withings Sleep Analyzer, reveals that what matters is not only how severe the sleep apnoea is, but also how much the breathing pauses vary from night to night. People with mild sleep apnoea who show high night-to-night variability display signs of arterial stiffness comparable to those seen in people with severe sleep apnoea – indicating that they could be at risk of accelerated cardiovascular ageing.

Marylebone Skin & Medical Aesthetics in the heart of London https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/refined-radiant-skin-thanks-to-marylebone-skin-clinic/ Fri, 20 Mar 2026 19:48:09 +0000 https://www.luxurialifestyle.com/?p=109725 Marylebone Skin, founded by cosmetic doctor, Dr Catharine Denning, is setting a new benchmark in doctor-led aesthetic medicine with a practice built on clinical integrity, discretion, and a fully holistic approach to skin health, rejuvenation, and longevity.

March 2026, Marylebone, London – Dr Catharine Denning and the team at Marylebone Skin are redefining modern aesthetic medical care through a distinctly medical, patient-first approach that blends clinical expertise with a deep understanding of skin health, skin ageing, and regenerative medicine. Based on Marylebone High Street, London, the clinic is distinguished by its clinically led ethos, where every patient journey is grounded in thorough medical assessment, and aesthetic and skin treatments are delivered under the expertise, oversight, and recommendation of a qualified doctor.

Marylebone Skin has built a reputation for listening to patient needs and delivering refined, natural results through a holistic, full-face strategy that uses minimally invasive skin and facial enhancement procedures to restore a youthful glow. At the core of Dr Denning’s philosophy is the belief that meaningful, lasting rejuvenation comes from treating the whole face and the underlying skin biology, rather than chasing isolated concerns or quick fixes.

Medical aesthetic and skin treatments available include a full range of advanced cosmetic injectable treatments targeting lines and wrinkles, and volume loss with dermal fillers, alongside regenerative approaches with ICONA® H8 skin boosters and bioremodelling ingredients that stimulate natural rejuvenation of skin tissue, like ICONA® Pn polynucleotides and Sculptra®. Medical aesthetician delivered options include topical skin-focused treatments, like laser, medical microneedling, medi-facials, and professional skin peels. This is topped off with recommendations for medical-grade, prescription skincare regimens to maintain good skin health at home between clinic visits. The emphasis is on achieving natural, refined results that support the skin over time.

Treatment planning focuses on facial harmony, balance, and long-term skin health, and delivery is optimised in a considered and bespoke way, using treatment combinations and layered approaches, with every decision made in the context of the individual. Each patient receives a comprehensive, detailed medical consultation supported by advanced skin-scanning technology, forming the basis of a fully personalised treatment programme tailored to their individual needs and goals, which continues to evolve during the journey to better skin health.

Dr Catharine Denning explains, “My approach has always been to treat the whole face and the whole patient. By combining treatments in a thoughtful, personalised way, we can achieve results that are not only natural but sustainable, supporting skin health and confidence over the long term.”

Catharine develops long-lasting relationships with her patients, many of whom return regularly for ongoing care. Discretion and trust sit at the heart of the patient experience. She takes the time to understand each patient’s goals, lifestyle, and concerns. The clinic maintains the highest level of confidentiality in every interaction, from consultation through to treatment and follow-up, creating a calm, private environment where patients feel secure and understood.

A busy working woman herself who understands being time-poor, her practice is particularly attuned to the needs of busy female professionals who value efficiency, expertise, and discretion without compromise. Appointment times are structured with flexibility in mind, including late evening clinics held three times per week, making it possible to access high-level medical aesthetic care around demanding professional and personal schedules.

This commitment to accessibility, paired with consistently high clinical standards, has attracted a growing patient base to Dr Denning not only from across London but internationally, with clients regularly travelling from New York and Dubai to access her expertise. Despite its global reach, the practice remains boutique and highly personal, treating every patient as an individual and supporting them with a carefully managed, long-term treatment plan, alongside exceptional care from Catharine.

Dr Denning adds, “My priority is always to treat every patient with kindness, care, and the highest standard of medical safety. Aesthetic treatments should enhance confidence, never compromise well-being. At my clinics, we take a truly individual approach, where medical integrity and compassion go hand in hand.”

Marylebone Skin continues to lead the way in modern aesthetic medicine, offering a refined, medically grounded approach for patients seeking expert care tailored to their lifestyle and individual needs. Dr Denning is committed to delivering safe treatments and products backed by scientific evidence.
